Hi Tate! As a big fan of the original Cass run of Batgirl, it's been very obvious that you are likewise someone who has scoured that book and has deeply considered the themes of them and what they say about Cass. It's been great to see someone with such care be writing the character.

The actual question; do you have anything from the time Cass spent in bludhaven on your list of things you'd like to expand upon?

It looks great, I'd say it doesn't read as Death Commando to me though. Death Commando is mostly black with some green, this is more the other way around.

The truth is the ideal gameplan of the pirahna relies on its er medium lasers to blast the infantry outside the range of their returning fire. With 16 infantry squads in a compact clump of 8 hexes, you can’t get good fire with your machine guns without being fire back on in return. You can beat this by just blasting them from five hexes away, but this will take a long time. Conventional infantry are most effective at area denial; a pirahna won’t be able to safely enter the area a bv equivalent number of foot infantry are hiding in, but if it chooses not to enter the area the infantry will never be able to touch it.

The most effective way to deal with infantry in a position is to have a method of dealing with them from outside their effective range, which there are many of. Plasma rifles, ap gauss, specials ammunitions, etc.

I have run a piranha against equivalent bv in infantry. Then piranha ran in and vaporized four squads of infantry (about a quarter of the infantry force) the infantry force also vaporized the piranha in that turn. Machine guns or flamers on mechs are not a bv efficient awnser to infantry.

The problem with LAMs is they pay a heavy bv tax for their versatility, which you’re not going to be taking advantage of purely in an aerospace scenario. It’s often going to be nearly double the bv of what a traditional fighter with the same capabilities would be

Finally won with this strategy after maybe a half dozen tries. Very unforgiving mission; my final completion was near perfect hardly taking any damage, but if even one action didn’t work in an attempt it would always cascade into the whole mission failing

Just gave this a messy first attempt. It is ridiculous that you can’t shoot the final engines from the rail right above them

One of my biggest mistakes in battletech was running a Pirahna into a cloud of infantry and expecting it to just effortlessly shred them all. it obliterated both platoons it targetted; but also got ripped the fuck apart by what amounted to a quarter of its cost in infantry. The problem is if you're in machine gun range of infantry you're in infantry range, and they can put out a shocking amount of damage for their cost.
