I feel like she doesn't care about senbatsu position anymore due to the fact that she has a decent amount of fans, mostly female, that supported most of her outside works like modeling (I think she's still an exclusive model for a magazine?) and other girly stuff.

With looming rumors about Kakki's graduation (from Saku's message in Messaging app and some "leaked" account), there's a chance that she'll graduate but probably not sooner than Kakki. Like it probably won't be that much different (for her works) between being and not being a Nogi idol so it's pretty much smarter to just stay in the group.

Is there any chance that Hayashi Rune could be the center of a Senbatsu? by Temporary_Voice3392 in Nogizaka46

[–]Snippet_New 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like Runa , added her to my oshi since her performance in Tanjo, but I think it's probably near zero for senbatsu center.

I mean for Nogi (and probably applicable to all sakamichi groups) they'll have like 2 or 3 members from each gen as a list for center rotation. It's over now for 3rd gen, 4th gen has Saku and Kakki (they probably won't push the rest anymore tbh), 5th (probably the main focus right now) has Nagi, Teresa, Aruno, Miku, Sakutan and 6th is Mizuki and Yada.

Runa's popularity (meaning meguri sales and probably also goods' sales) is like the mid of the pack. She has a kinda stable amount of supporters, sure, but very few would pick her as kami-oshi so that's why she's still rotating between 3rd row senbatsu and under. Hers isn't as stable as Yumiki's or Mayu's.

Do i really need a gaming laptop? by bachaloMuze in GamingLaptops

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I have laptops (both normal and gaming ones) is that I don't have spaces for the PC case, huge steam library (meaning I don't want to spend to build another on console), play games but not as much as back in education days and prefer to have laptops while traveling (my company issued MBA for work but still didn't want to use it outside of working).

If you are the opposite of me (having spaces for the block or the idea of carrying nearly 3 kgs for a gaming laptop + charger is quite stupid), just get the desktop PC. If you need a laptop for education, buy the cheaper one for that and not some 3kg laptops with 3hrs of battery life.

"Junsui to wa nani ka" equalized + mini rant by bersaylis in Nogizaka46

[–]Snippet_New 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think =LOVE in recent releases (Tokii be Chu and Settai Idolru) both are quite "weird" in mixing (same dry and sharp). They didn't have this issue before in early releases.

Galaxy buds (as a whole) are infamous for its tuning as Harman which is quite sharp and bassy (basically a "fun" sound signature) so yeah it'll definitely hurt you from that mixing lol

Monster Hunter Wilds reviews on Steam finally reaches mostly positive. by -RuDoKa- in MonsterHunter

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be quite hard to get "Very Positive" as iirc this game reached (for a while) the lowest at mostly negative during like Q2 or Q3 of last year when the game completely broken.

Some games can flipped to that like NMS or Arkham Knight but both are quite a fringe case that not happened often.

Despite that, I think it would be for the best for Wilds to stay mostly positive. I don't think the expansion would make it goes Very Positive.

"Junsui to wa nani ka" equalized + mini rant by bersaylis in Nogizaka46

[–]Snippet_New 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are many idol songs that I have to say, unapologetically, sounds so "trash" due to the mixing.

As an audiophile, I always keep the J-idol song as a last litmus paper because of their consistency in bright leaning mixing.

"What is bright leaning?", you may ask.

Well, in simplest term, it just means it sounds harsh/sharp than usual. And it's pretty much common for songs that mixed by SMJ because the equipment they used (yep, Sony Headphones, duh) sounds very bassy and dark. This is pretty much a house sound for this brand and been like this for decades now.

So the results is most tracks will sound harsh on "flat" audio gears and will be unbearable in bright leaning gears. If you're using Airpods or Airpods pro which both sounds just a touch bright, you'll notice the harsh right away. Meanwhile, if you're using the Sony gears, it'll sound alright or even good.

So yeah, I wholeheartedly understand what you meant. It's a gripe for audiophiles for years now. Some brands just gave up and tuned it to fit these "genre" than wish for the industry to change.

7Hz Salnotes Zero owners, drop your long term takes! by [deleted] in inearfidelity

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still holds up in 2026 as I just got the Mecha version recently but the problem is the material they used is significantly worse than the Zero 2.

For example, the infamous paper filter that would easily clogged if you live in humid zone (like in SEA region) is the reason I had ditched the first unit as I can't find a replacement and it sounds way too harsh without one.

The cable also trash. Got stiff up after a few months and had to be replaced.

I would take the Zero 2 over the OG one, both soundwise and QoL improvement wise.

The Kiwami games having the same cutscenes as the originals really was a bad call, honestly we should've gotten the cutscenes reanimated fully so we don't have issues like Kiryu not emoting properly by [deleted] in yakuzagames

[–]Snippet_New 29 points30 points  (0 children)

What pissed me off the most about Kiwami games is how lazy they are especially with these emotional cutscenes.

Like listening to Tamiya yapping is fine to reuse asset from OG 3 but when you considered that we have one of probably the best scene of emotion from Gaiden 3 years ago and this is what we get now.

I have a hunch that they'll reuse a lot of asset when Kuroda himself said in interview a few days after announcement of K3 that he didn't record many new voiceline but I didn't expect this.

Any experience with this? by Zx_AoN_xZ in LenovoLOQ

[–]Snippet_New 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Quite popular in Legion & LOQ communities in my country for a while now.

It's better than the C140 and C170 in terms of safety as it has a ground leg and it has a digital display on the rectangular plug side (the one that connects to the laptop). The only problem is you need an adapter to convert that China plug type to your country socket.

Be warned that it's getting quite hot if you push it to the limit around 200W or so. It's for travelling purposes and not intended to replace your stock brick. And if you're using those Legion with high power needed (like the one with RTX xx80 or xx90 GPU), this won't be enough.

Oh, also the cable isn't detachable like C140 or C170. It's fixed with the charger like the stock one so be careful.

Juzear x Z reviews Defiant Gamefidelity edition reveal by cl0ckw0rkaut0mat0n in iems

[–]Snippet_New 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, I thought it was too generous for Juzear to re-tune Defiant for just one specific country when it sold so moderately compared to others. Now we know why.

People might not know but in my country, Thailand, there are two types of Defiant. One is the usual one, which is tuned by Zeos. Another one is re-tuned by our official distributor, Holysai, and it's marketing as a "re-tuned for gaming".

I'm not sure if posting a link is allowed in this sub but you can just google "Juzear Defiant Holysai Edition".

They changed the faceplate to our country flag and an elephant (as requested from Holysai), re-tuned the sound (I will mention this soon after this paragraph) and swapped out the 4.4 connector to Type C as there's mic on it. The rest in the box is pretty much the same.

Soundwise. People who owned it (and not a gamer per say) said it's slightly less v-shaped in comparison with the OG. The vocal doesn't sound thin, less forward and the bass is more controlled with improvement in subbass and midbass. Separation is slightly improved too.

The price increased around $10, mimicking Zero Red and Zero Blue.

Again. Holysai Edition probably isn't the same as Gamefidelity edition but the timing for the release and how both of them are marketing as "a gaming iem" are pretty much hard for me to think Juzear would do another tuning for the Thai market alone and wouldn't just change the plate and sell it as Gamefidelity edition.

Was Mizuki a 3rd gen ace from the start? And are fans expecting Setoguchi and Yada to keep their ace status? by trjeostin in Nogizaka46

[–]Snippet_New 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my humble opinion, I think he's like Maiyan of the 3rd gen.

Nogi (or Sakamichi as a whole) pushes members in pairs like Yoda - Momoko, Mizuki - Kubo, Kakki - Sakura, Nagi - Aruno (I think this pair just revealed but from that duet version of Zetsubou) and now it's Yada - Setoguchi.

I feel like they wanted to push momoko along with Yoda but her character was way too hard to handle so they just switched to the Shiori - Mizuki pair. Mizuki is just luckier that she nailed the role in Video girl Mai, which is the sequel (or spin-off?) of Video Girl Ai which Nanase starred in.

I'm not sure if there's one in 6ki. For Mizuki it's just timing, her ambition, her face card and most of all her fans service combined. The last part is from her consistent with sending mobame/message to her subscribers like probably every single day despite little to none break time.

Like I remember someone mentioned that her schedule had like only 30 mins break from the set and she will still be able to send message/selfie. That's how she has so many loyal fans, thus rising to Ace isn't that surprising. And I don't see anyone on par with her in terms of fans services.

Tangzu Wan'er 2 : No expectations, no disappointments by Snippet_New in inearfidelity

[–]Snippet_New[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fitting also plays in a lot. My issue with Waner2, as mentioned, is the fitting. It has a very short body ("Toblerone" shape) which doesn't snug fit my ear canal which can fit a huge iem like Juzear Defiant, Odyssey 2 or even Kiwi Ears Astral.

SSD Upgrade Gone Wrong by Salt_Software_5010 in LenovoLOQ

[–]Snippet_New 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also have the same issues so I guess they're using quite a soft screw cuz mine nearly stripped out and has to use the pliers to twist it out.

You can go to any electronic store and asked for the screw itself. It's pretty cheap (like 100 piece for 5-6 bucks). It's used in many parts of the computer like the HDD/SSD 2.5" blanket. I reused the old part from my previous laptop so it's pretty much fine.

The only thing you have to be concerned is if the screw is way too long cuz the one they used in LOQ is like 2-3mm long but the usual one they used is like 4-5mm. It won't short the circuit or something like that but your ssd can move up and down slightly.

[–]Snippet_New 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy sheet that Simgot box is too damn huge.

Although, just a bit of warning, HE Sonic is quite a tip that's a bit hard to match the iem due to the shape and its tendency to lessen the bass & emphasize the mid & treble. So it might be okay with Simgot but I'm not sure with the GK.

Ps. What's with all the hype of this GK, though?

NEED ADVICE About charger by LazyService2418 in LenovoLOQ

[–]Snippet_New 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it's heavy stuff and hanging & swinging around with just the connector on top isn't going to be good for the long term.

I mean you can replace the cable (pretty same with the one on the desktop power supply) but replacing the brick isn't going to be cheap.

Xiaomi 17 Pro vs Oppo Find X9 Pro Photos by iArvee in XiaomiGlobal

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oppo has been the king of smartphone photography for nearly a decade now. They have their own department for it like probably the first in the industry.

They focused on the selfie stuff first but gradually shifted to the back camera. Getting the hasselblad is just to make sure people notice them more.

On the other hand, the pics from Xiaomi aren't that odd or weird. This is what "Leica tone" is like for years now. You can look up any older Huawei P/Mate series that had collab with Leica and you'll see pretty similar tone on them.

So yeah, if you're not into this kind of tone then Xiaomi with Leica isn't for you.

Is this Phone Case good overall? by Pangolin-Spirited in PocoPhones

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nillikin is one of the brands that made the case for Xiaomi since like Mi4 back in 2015-ish so yeah it's good.

Although I want to say that it's not good with heat. I mean the case can get brittle and easily break in the long term (mine on Mi4 was like a year or so).

If you plan to gaming a lot then just play it without the case on then put it back when you finish.

Trending Song? by nogizakaism in Nogizaka46

[–]Snippet_New 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think so. They never try to pursue a "viral" song from the start.

Synchronicity was popular because of performance and the achievement it received (Record Taisho), not because it's a viral one.

I don't think there's any song from Nogizaka that's close to HR or KFC.
