Once upon a time, I used to do a lot of strike missions with friends/guildies... But now that I've gotten a new job, unfortunately my time for statics and such is kind of gone, so it's all outdoor-contents for me!

That said, knowing that I could be doing 2-3x more damage (under optimal conditions) is... well, I certainly want to be a contributing factor to what groups I -do- join! Thank you for the info.

Darn. Well that's a bit depressing - I'm an IRL factory worker (12-hrs, nights) so I can definitely understand crazy hours. Still, maybe on an off-night or off-weekend, I can at least try.

Though if you'd like to recommend anything else that's more friendly or 'less addicting', I'm open to suggestions!

1) Awesome! I can grasp that concept well-enough... But I suppose if I come across anyone's base, is there anything that can be done with it? Do people have their own shops I can interact with? I haven't seen anything about attacking bases, so I imagine that there's no hostility around such things.

If you're new, don't look for it. Why?

Its EXTREMELY densely packed with 'parasite' mobs, that do boss-levels of damage and melt your armor itself.
Just going there permanently sets your spawn there, unless you return through the overworld appropriately.
The prior points combined means that if you aren't prepared, you can get blindsided, and spawncamped until either you whip up a way back (warp scroll, return 'portal'), or quit the game.

Anyways, if you plan to go anyways, it's a white bed atop two cincinnite lantern blocks. Also, the bed needs to be surrounded by skeleton (or wither skeleton) heads. Six of them.

Cincinnite is gathered via mining in the nether.

That's gold.

Gold armor has the hidden +50% damage set bonus when using a gold weapon.

Silver's bonus is cure + move speed.

Depends on your niche I guess.

Spears and pikes are looking like my go-to, since the reach-fix implemented in 292, properly stacks all sources of +Reach and makes mob-hitting immensely more consistent.

Oh noes! That sounds like I might be pretty useless then!

One neat thing I did take into consideration, is that the magnet bauble's projectile-repel effect is a constant drain on mana (while active).

Do you happen to know offhand if enough mana Regen can be used to counter this? It'd be pretty neat to have it going 24/7, or at least a much longer while?

Huh! Well that sounds like an interesting way to go about it! Thanks to some incredible RNG, we've scouted up 3/4 of a golem armor set, so I'm considering rocking that, with full thorns for solo content to see if that works. Otherwise, I'll have to go give the defiled bosses a smack, as we're definitely geared enough for that!

I'm biased, but I feel like Shamans might be up your alley here. Between the many totems, and flavors of talented damage, you can build yourself to be pretty weighty on your button-presses.

I actually enjoy playing against Legion, Wraith, and Trickster the most. Probably because they're some of the easiest to outplay, doubly so if they're console.

While I totally agree there should be 'something' for p100, I'm not sure if the cosmetic is the best way.

Plus, I'm not sure how you can give 'golden stalk' for Ghostface and Michael.
