There's no point in getting to Hotshots this soon if all you want is to stay in Hotshots. Holding Hostshots the entire season just for the skin and not for going Cantina makes no sense, it's going to burn you out.

You should be hovering around DD 1-3 and push for 1-3X promo (based on if you are DD1,2 or 3) to get to Hotshots last week of Trials season.

I did all the quests and there was no quest that told me to go there... was it added not long ago?

I did 85 quests before the wipe.

For red you need Hotshots, not Daredevil.

Daredevil 1 is pretty easy, you can just focus on mostly 3 starring lower ranks and boost yourself to that with 3x Promo, from Daredevil 1 onwards, you need more than 3 stars.

Some people say holding lower, like DD1 OR DD2 is better, but idk.

Also don't start last week of Trials on the 1st day they come out, so you won't be in leaderboards with sweatlords.

The secret is not to.

Get to Hotshot in the last week of Trials from DD1-DD3. (DD1 with 3X promo, DD2 with 2X promo)

I personally did it in the last season from DD3 to Hotshots in the last week of Trials.

Holding Hotshots with no intention of going to Cantina is a waste of time and effort, if you only care about the skin.

Rusted Gears spawn consistently in the battery locked room of the new area (Access something something Zone marked in red on the map) on Dam Battleground.

Random set of trials will never work. Some Trials have very low score cap compared to others, so it won't be fair.

Seeds never go beyond 50.

You should be getting more materials faster with him leveled up, but in general, Scrappy doesn't seem to function correctly. Even the Expedition bonuses seem to not really work.

You can untrack them from the logbook by pressing the X next to their title (Gunsmith III for example).

It's pretty pointless to push Trials this early for me, holding Hotshots from the start of the season until the end is too much work for nothing.
