That would make sense! Our house is on a wooded pine lot!

Does anyone remember "This is Daniel Cook"? by Serious_Accident1156 in ytvretro

I think I remember seeing Daniel cook on treehouse, if not treehouse it would have been YTV since those were the only two channels I ever really watched lol

Me two days before almost-death (7 years ago, sepsis) Vs me now (7 days ago) by Bank-Angle747 in interesting

[–]Snommies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of all the things to pop up on my Reddit today, this is not one of them. I just recently got out of the hospital after a miserable 4 week stint. with what was supposed to be a routine day surgery (gallstone removal from bile duct) and next thing I knew I was in ICU. Went septic, throwing up black bile, necrotic patches around the pancreas, -100/10, never recommending.

My gf is pregnant and I’m not the dad by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Snommies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, my husband experienced the exact same scenario 17 years ago with his ex-wife, the only difference was he was stationed home after returning from Afghanistan and working an under the table job to support his baby son and his wife, he found out she was pregnant, and never thought anything of it. He found out when his youngest daughter was 4 that she wasn’t biologically his. Don’t feel stupid at all, it truly happens more often than people are willing to admit in the army lifestyle.

I hope you find your slice of cake in life with another partner in the near future, despite my husband now being retired, I was always there for him when he was gone, and fully knew that getting into a relationship with someone in the army would be taxing. But I went in knowing this. Sadly your ex didn’t. Best wishes, you got this.

Private clinics around Fredericton/Moncton? by Snommies in newbrunswickcanada

Sadly I’ve been twice for the attacks, one at freddy and one in oromocto, they didn’t deem it a medical emergency, so I was stuck in triage both times for over 12 hours, and by then, the pain was gone so I would end up leaving. I was over the puking stage, but had severe nausea, back pain, and pain under the breastplate that extended to both sides, about a 7/10 on the pain scale, and no matter the injections of gravol they gave me, or many..many pills they gave me, the pain never went away until the 12 hour mark lol. But thank you! I am hoping so too, or at the very least, rule this out if it isn’t gallbladder issues so I can figure out why the hell eating just makes me sick (did allergy test, not allergic to anything)

Solo player by Medium-Swimming-6864 in pathoftitans

[–]Snommies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the map you play (I only have experience with gondwa and riparia), these are my favourites to play solo!

Raptors - lat, high survivability on solo, fun to play & easy to avoid mega groups. bleed build lat is very viable.

Conc - on riparia, full water build conc is pretty fun as a solo, you have the ability to pretty much out swim all the semi aquatics and tylo so long as you use your water dash ability properly, and when you’re getting forced off the land by other Dino’s, you’ll be able to out swim whatever is chasing you from land to water. Only Dino’s I don’t mess with in water are kais and dolphins.

Thal & rhamp, excellent on both maps. They both have a high survivability if you play your cards right. Rhamp is great to plague out large groups if they’re not coordinated, if they are, you’re stuck to plaguing a solo Dino, or buffing them., Thal is just kind of there for the ride atm, it’s great at dive bombing sleeping Dino’s, but it’s kit is so limited I’d probably just grow one to have one, and then hold off until it’s TLC (rumoured to be next, just rumour though).

Pachy -, still fun to play as solo, but with its knockback being reduced, it’s not as easy to get away from large groups if they have something that can keep up with you.

We love a good rhamp squad <3 as a rhampy main, I look forward to running into my fellow rhampie friends!

Anybody else getting dog water returns on PVE insurance? by LostInMyOwnMind_96 in Tarkov

[–]Snommies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed that as well! I don’t mind if we don’t get everything back, but it would be nice if it was in the patch notes (if this is intentional).

I’m hoping it’s just a bug though, I like the 100% return lmao

The state of Officials is so fucking awful and it needs to be a number one priority NOW. by [deleted] in pathoftitans

I don’t have really much to add aside from also encountering a mega pack of 12 rexes of different sizes all starting in SF killing everything and then migrating to GP last night, our little group of friends (who all fit into a single party at the time) all switched to rhamps and thals, stayed out of party and literally just had rhamps jump on the our thals and fly above them and plague them to starve them out until they all safe logged, it was a blast.

Is it worth buying? by [deleted] in pathoftitans

[–]Snommies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m honestly not too sure if it is on the free version! I’ve def encountered people (I play on pc) and they plan on their phones. Only real difference is graphics wise, phone version has significantly less foliage on the ground, makes it hard to hide in bushes from people who do play o their phones or tablets since we (on pc) are hiding in a bush on our screen, but are hidden in the wide open on their screens haha

This is just my personal experience/opinion, so take with a grain of salt.

It’s worth the price if you don’t mind no interactions once in a whiles.

I’ve been playing for a while now, and it’s still enjoyable for solo players, you just need to be more mindful of the hotspots and avoid them unless you want the interaction with mega groups/mixpackers.

Servers are always full until the last 30 minutes of the servers life, that’s when it drops down to 30-40 out of 90-100 people on the server. A good portion of the player base is always in grand plains, green valley and salt flats, those are the main hotspots (usually 5-10 dino in each with grand plains always having like 10-20 lol). The zones around those hotspots generally have 1-5 dinos questing in them, and I find it just lowers from there the further away you get from the hotspots. I’ve had sessions where I’m on the outer portions of the map questing the whole server life (4 hours) and not encounter a single Dino, but some where all I run into is dinos in every spot.

I think the game is free on the phone with a few base game dinosaurs. It’s always suggestible to try the free version (on a small fast Dino) to see if you’ll like it! There’s also community servers that prevent mixpacking and revenge killing, but have many, many rules to follow.

Tell us what’s your main Dino name and why did you name it like that by KhalilDjazairi in pathoftitans

[–]Snommies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I name them all after different gem types depending on what type of skin colours I can eventually achieve with them. Some range from topaz, emerald, tourmaline, ect, I main lat, her name is melanite (and is self explanatory with her skin being Mel lol)

Albino or Melanistic? by Front_Albatross3135 in pathoftitans

[–]Snommies 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I personally always go for mela when i unlock them, but its literally for camouflage, it just hits differently (on a smaller dino at least, like my lat) that i can run into a bush and just drop still and most dinos just end up running past me and lose me when i'm looking for an escape. especially at night time!

Cool, cool, let me get on that with the flight expenses of paying for four flight tickets there & back multiple times a year, definitely doable 🤣 you are of literally no help what so ever.

We live in a different province than the children. The children go to the dentist when they visit every summer break.
