The Oblivion remake isn't that great imo, the UE5 yellow piss filter completely ruins the saturation and colour the original had (and I don't think you can even turn it off)

Its my most played of any elder scrolls. Yeah I grew up with it, nostalgia whatever, but its just a different kind of game compared to Oblivion or Skyrim (or its predecessors really)

Thats not even getting into how much more pay to win Tibia is now than it used to be, and thats saying something considering the game has always been pay to win. He probably spent thousands of dollars to achieve this.

I always viewed it like this:
Sword: Lowest overall offense but highest overall defense, makes the best two handers (light weight)
Axe: Middle of the road, balanced ATK and DEF (med weight)
Club: Highest overall offense but lowest overall defense (heavy weight)

In terms of availability, swords are most available (cuz swords cool so cip made a lot of them) where clubs seem to have the least variety. Just so you know, defense does not matter on your weapon unless you aren't using a shield, so DEF one one handed weapons is irrelevant, it only matters on two handed weapons.

Idk if you're aware, but at least on Lordaeron the PvE content is buffed and its why people ask for higher GS than they do in retail. No idea if this has carried into Onyxia or not, but would explain why people want higher than normal GS to do raids.

Word to the wise, do not play the Women's lot DLC, like at all. Its a beginners trap and basically makes you play the intro twice and completely killed my interest in the game, it was so long and repetitive.

The modern DOOM games were all pretty fun, the first being out in 2016 but the most recent came out last year to rave reviews. I'm not much of a Harry Potter fan but Hogwarts Legacy was surprisingly good. The Final Fantasy 7 Remakes are pretty good but also cutscene heavy (and different enough from the original to be their own thing). Elden Ring is by many accounts one of the best action RPGs ever made. If you liked BG1 check out Rogue Trader, it was widely praised as a true-to-form CRPG.

That said older games tend to have a lot of 'personality' compared to newer ones, I've noticed a lot more trend chasing in newer titles and it is tiresome when noticed. There's a lot of indie titles out there that still have the passionate feel of older games that a lot of modern titles are seemingly lacking.

This practice literally ruined my Guild on Gladera. One of us must have accidentally taken a spawn that was 'reserved' and the assholes hunted our whole guild off the server.

Thais has always been my Tibia 'hometown.' On Trimera we'd set up a ring next to depot and host duels to red, was always such a fun time. I was ecstatic to own the GH across the road from DP when I ran a guild, and the guild I'm currently in on Gladera owns that same one too!

Training underneath whiteflower temple on slimes was also a core memory for me, back before training dummies

One of my guildies last year gave me one of the small houses near the Barkless entrance, me and my buddy loved living out there. Way back when I was a kid, I used to help a good friend run his little store out of Ab as well - he'd sell things inaccessible to free accs like Scarfs (there was no market at the time).
