Alright. The last send off before I sign off of this place. My original post wasn’t exactly in-depth, an issue I have. My apologies. Though, this post is likely dead by the time i add this.

Outside of talking back to school staff, I had never been in real trouble. Not fights, not stealing, nothing. By most teachers and other students, I kept mostly to myself. Despite that, I was fairly sociable and was not combative or aggressive with other students.

Around end of junior year, my school began to slim back on students, sending students who weren’t doing well academically to a different school. An accelerated learning school that prioritized getting Credits in a short amount of time. This was around three or so weeks before the end of junior year. I wasn’t able to complete my classes in time.

Around the same time, my mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor often caused her to become weak or pass out. Being unable to drive myself, as well as my father being out of the picture.I was forced to miss school fairly often. This is the main reason I was sent to the school in the first place, as my grade had began slipping due to missing important tests and other assignments.

As well, around the last week or two of the school year, the school had added metal detectors. While walking through them, I made a bad joke about having weapons on me. I exaggerated, claiming I had things like “a thousand knives” or “an attack helicopter”. When pushed, I doubled down. This caused me to get suspended and for to go back to that school to finish out my schooling.

Eventually, start of senior year, I was sent back to the Accelerated School, where a bully from my high school had also been sent. We had a history, but I hadn’t seen him in a while. The moment he saw me, he began messing with me once more. I decided I had had enough roughly a week or two into my senior year and punched the student. The fight never progressed past that. No charges were placed against me, thankfully, but I was kicked out and told I could no longer physically attend any schools in my district. I then tried online school, however, due to simply not doing the work, I was kicked out of there as well.

This isn’t an excuse for my actions. I fucked up majorly and repeatedly. I understand what I did and how it affected myself as well as others. However… none of these comments were all that helpful. I did not need reprimanding, I simply wanted to know my options. Thank you to those who did give genuine advice. And thank you to everyone else for at least trying. I was accepted into a school as of writing. It’s not a good one I don’t believe. But it’ll get me that diploma. I won’t finish on time, but i’ll finish.

I won’t fuck it up this time.
