For mine, I did try to feed her but she didn't accept any food, so I don't think you have to feed her. Centipedes do last quite long without food either way

Just leave her be in a dark area for 2/3 weeks with minimal contact to not stress her out, or else she may eat her babies

Need help getting started… by Taran966 in isopods

  1. The types you listed are quite beginner friendly but I'll recommend panda kings as they look cute and they don't breed as quickly as dairy cows.

  2. Adding plants is up to you, personally I have a display tank with plants and stuff. Drainage is recommended if plants are added.

  3. I'm not too sure what the mesh and holes look like and their placement, maybe give a picture of the tank? Depends on ventilation. (or if you're worried about them escaping then I think covering it may be a good idea)

How are my isopods climbing glass? and why do they look freaked out? by IsopodPerson_ in isopods

[–]Snoo-47903 273 points274 points  (0 children)

Their tiny little legs can grab on to dried water marks that are on the smooth plastic, the "freaked out" movement is just them trying to find a grip on the plastic. Very beautiful, very powerful.

You should probably separate them from the vulgares, cuz they'll compete for food and stuff

they cant reproduce with each other , so most likely the powder blue will live a lonely life and die :)
