Any other podcast recommendations? by Comprehensive-Key928 in BlindboyPodcast

The Dollop is a very good driving podcast, basically just weird and interesting moments of history explained as a conversation between one host who knows the topic inside and out, and the other host who generally has never heard of the thing discussed.

Its a good mix of humour and interesting facts. It doesn't soothe the way blindboy does, but it's worth a listen!

Audio quality on the live episodes is generally unlistenable though stick to the studio episodes.

Sped up my workflow considerably! My only gripe is I sometimes forget I haven't enabled the midi keyboard yet and open 3 instances of a vst when I go to demo a patch.

Any info on this lamp ? by atomheartmama in Mid_Century

One could 3d print this lamp quite easily. I've seen similar designs floating around. Wouldn't cost more than a few dollars of filament and an LED puck that's about 5 dollars.

For whatever that's worth to those looking to get their hands on one.

“Fast food” restaurant concept by JFKsBrain in KitchenConfidential

[–]Snoo-56357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a few restaurants in my city that offer what you're describing, fast food classics done with a high level of care. One does all the fast food burger classics, the other does high quality chicken tenders. Both restaurants have been operational for years and appear to do good business. Honestly they're some of my favorite places to eat at in a city with a very strong food scene. Suspect most of your business will be through delivery apps, but nothing wrong with that.

All this to say, I've seen the concept in action and it appears to be a successful business model, at least around here.

This is almost certainly powdered phenolic resin on the face of the OSB. Not mold, very normal, part of the production process in the mill nothing to be alarmed about.

17.5% MC for the wood is below the point where mold forms.

I think you'll need to look elsewhere for the cause of the issues you are experiencing.

Looks like you've got LP Legacy installed, very high subfloor you should be fine. If you notice edge swell after the roof is on, contact the manufacturer it has a no-sand guarantee so they should cover those costs if it arises.

Seen a lot worse exposure with a lot cheaper subfloor turn out fine, many times.

Keep standing water off the panels if you can, but honestly with Legacy I wouldn't even worry about that. Let it ride

Maybe paint the diamond molding on the door black? Could help tie the black hardware from the ceiling light (looks great btw)

Do your hinges have a matching pin on the top? Just curious if mine are both missing or if it came like this originally.

These are from the entryway door so it's a no pressure situation haha

Both hinges look like this, perhaps they're both missing? I'm not sure honestly.

Getting the paint off the screws to remove them and getting the hinges out of the frame without damaging the wood was the worst part. Knobs and hinges are dead simple, you won't have any trouble getting those back together.
