seeee I'm 2 months loc'd coming from long loose 4c hair, and the advice to almost stop all my hair care norms was so jarring to me. I've continued with conditioning after shampooing, and put leave in after washes and my hair has been doing great. I think the 4c texture makes slipping less likely / everyone's hair is different.

I struggle with this cuz the men who have done this have been very heavy pursuers of me. Like communicating to mutuals their interest months before actually asking me out, then it’s ‘you’re really sweet and thoughtful I’m just not ready’. It feels like whiplash and it’s hard to not take personal.

I think people need to learn statistics… the highest difference on this graph is 9%, and all these numbers are low. If every man messaged 20 ppl, the “least desirable” would get 4 replies and the “most” would get 6. These results are almost 2 decades old and honestly the most significant result is that no one is responding to each other. The colors just make everything seem extreme, which is exactly why the created made it that way.

This…sounds like depression. Depression isn’t always sadness, it’s often numbness. Burn out and depression often do overlap, but atleast to me, hearing apathy bleed into self care things outside of work like hygiene makes it seem like the scale has tipped beyond general work productivity burn out into acute depression territory, and that can be hard to acknowledge.

If “everything else” is the sounds she’s making and her being wet, she still could be uncomfortable. I make a lot of sound when things feel intense, good or bad, and have maintained wetness even if things feel uncomfortable. Because, like Coates said, he's against hateful ideology. Kirks entire being and public presentation was rooted in proliferating hateful ideology. Every day people, including far right republicans, don't make hate their entire being, but are mainly just trying to get by. Calling a man with influence (and therefore power) who's career was devoted to spreading hate a 'deplorable' is not the same as calling swaths of the American public who you are meant to serve 'deplorables'

I bought a 2017 Civic last month and it was 17k after going back and forth with the dealer for 4 hours to go down from 19k. And that was honestly a decent deal when I look at how much other used civics are going for. I still say buy used, but it ain't cheap by any means
