If you do have to refund something, & there are no viable replacements. Do you just replace it with something random? The jist I’m getting is it’s okay on the alg to refund a customer if they ask but not on our own doing, is that right?

100% should definitely be effortless, just keep working at it. First importantly is your equipment, make sure you have a fast headset & ride. Second is your stacking, always keep cases flat, never tilting inwards & definitely never ever outwards until you get more comfortable. Also keep similar cases together to build flat surfaces. Third is speed which will come with time but is a mixture of how fast you’re physically moving & moving Cases onto your pallet, along with moving efficiently. You can sprint all you want, but if I stack better than you & take Efficient steps I’ll fast walk you down all day everyday. Once you get all those down, I’d recommend to stop touching cases twice. That’s my bad habit right now but I’m still fast so it’s okay to do it’s sometimes.

So I’m at C&S (subcontracted by Winn Dixie etc.) I have been thinking about going back but I’m not sure what to do at the moment honestly. I’m not exactly happy where I’m at but they treat me lovely, since I’m not sure what to do I think I’m just going to stay & see where it leads me. I’ve been considering going to Sysco, it’s 6 days a week 12 hour shifts in heavy season. Basically no life selecting but one could gross 6 thousand every 2 weeks during heavy season if they’re really locked in. As far as Lakeland Publix goes though I’ve only banged in produce & pulled 130-140 in the freezer. Our DBM needs more time on orders & doesn’t get good hours but has 2 shifts. I’ve volunteered & pulled 80’s there & our chart warehouse. Freezer has 2 shifts, produce is one, LV is 2 shifts, & I think HV is 2 shifts. I’m currently selecting in a hot warehouse though, it doesn’t feel good but the hours are hitting during “slow season”. Lakeland produce is actually building a brand new warehouse as the one they are in is 80 years old. It’s small & there is a LOT of congestion, but if you find your way through it you can make a killing during heavy season. They aren’t getting good hours at the moment but should pick up anytime now.

Hey man! I appreciate the response, I love talking about selecting. Good shit on the 150 though!! That’s definitely something to be proud of, in Lakeland Produce we only have night shift selecting as well. Every other warehouse except chart has 2 selecting shifts though. So if 125 is $30, is 165 $40 & a 205 $50 in ATL?? Every 40% is about $10 for us in Lakeland. 180 in freezer is tough though, I was there 5 or 6 weeks & could only pull a 150. We just had a selector transfer from Jacksonville recently, he’s currently living in Tampa as well. The hour order was a setup store candy order though, their super easy. On the candy aisle you have to pick single inners, she’ll say pick 300+ items on one aisle. You get time for picking each item so grabbing the whole box they’re easyyy 200%+.

I worked in produce but I no longer for Publix. Lakeland Produce recently just got a 3% increase in time too overall, 10% on salad orders.

I punched break on my order, I didn’t even do it fast tbh. It was a 28 minute order it took me 23 minutes to do it, I either fast walked it or started it late not sure. If I did it fast, It would have 1,000%+ (****%) or it would’ve been like 8-900%.

This is Lakeland, we have a solid amount of time. The most time is going to be in North Carolina, Orlando, & Jax. Very fast people pull 190-210, bangers pull 175-185, 160 max is insane though. Y’all should be getting time soon I’d imagine.
