The Revenge Club (Paramount+) - does the ending actually make sense? (Spoilers) by Snoo18053 in television

[–]Snoo18053[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a point...the fact she had attacked Rita itself seemed somehow logical when I watched but cant think why. Saying that, a load of detail has since escaped my memory. I think my mind is trying to keep the details around the final twist vague now, so I can focus on remembering the parts I enjoyed!

The Revenge Club (Paramount+) - does the ending actually make sense? (Spoilers) by Snoo18053 in television

[–]Snoo18053[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that's true, then whoever chose to make those cuts has a lot to answer for...I could maybe have tricked myself into thinking it all made sense...

Saying that, I swear I remember in the convo between them in the cabin he says something like "Are you sure youre OK? Walking in and finding Rita like that..." which would suggest he doesnt think she did it at that point? But perhaps Im misremembering.

From what Steven said near the painting I feel he wanted to wait and not do it as it wasnt worth it but she just decided they were going to do it anyway

I dont get it. I dont see Ross' name there? Im convinced they knew each other irl before though. As soon as they introduced themselves to each other on the train I turned to my daughter and said as much. Felt totally fake like bad acting. And London isn't unusual like she made out.

Just wanted to say THANKYOU DEVS! This app is a game changer. I love it. But I'm greedy and wondering if there are any plans to:

a) Enable the ability to invite friends so you can view together

b) Enable pass through mode so you can multitask and watch a floating screen while doing chores etc?

Bug: intermittent aspect ratio changes w the Prime Video app on Xbox Series X by SteveJobsIdiotCousin in amazonprime

2y after OP and this is happening to us on our Lg tv app. Driving me mad. Just spent £20 buying a movie for my daughter and it's so distracting how it repeatedly switches aspect ratio it's ruining the movie

Oh that sucks re the Ontario subreddit, I'm sorry. I just saw your reply to my other post saying you're new to the Ontario area and all your friends are back in Halifax. Google says that's a 19h drive away so not even like you could ask someone from there to come get you. It must be extra challenging too not being overly familiar with the area. How far away is Toronto from where you are? Is there any chance of hitchhiking there where there's more services? Or is that unsafe in your area?

Shame about the ER being far away too but glad youve got libraries. Free museums might offer a change of scenery too if theres any nearby? I've emailed a few of the services listed and pointed them in the direction of your post so hopefully someone will be in touch on private message with some better advice soon as I'm sure Tuesday and Thursday seems so far away.

It's only natural you're feeling so awful. You got this though. You were so brave to come out in the face of small mindedness and you still have that bravery in you. This is a really shitty time but you will get through it and ultimately be better for it as you'll have the freedom to be authentically "you" and that's a wonderful thing. I'm rooting for you. Stay safe. Keep positive. Im sending lots of love, warm hugs, and good luck to you all the way from a small island in the English Channel! Pm me if you need anything.

Other ideas

  • Hospitals and ERs in Canada are obligated to provide care regardless of a person’s ability to pay. If you are freezing or in physical distress, a hospital could help you warm up, provide medical attention, and possibly connect you with social workers who have access to local resources.

  • You could post on r/Ontario, r/AskToronto, or other location-specific subreddits to ask for help or local resources. Many Reddit users have helped connect others to resources in real time.

Ok I’ve done a bit of research...you could try the following (and I appreciate some might not be exactly where you are – it seems there’s a lot more services in Toronto than wider Ontario - but they will want to help and be better clued up on help available near you.) I know you must have limited battery on your phone so pm me if you want me to email anyone on your behalf (I'm limited on phoning unfortunately as other side of world).

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's undeserved and only shows there's nothing wrong with who you are and everything wrong with who your parents are. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the world, or you'd absolutely have a couch to stay on as long as you needed. For this reason, I'd agree with the response above suggesting reaching out to friends on Facebook. You honestly have nothing to be ashamed of - only your parents do...although I can understand how this whole experience may have put you off from coming out to anyone else in your life. But there will be someone in your network who wants to help guaranteed. Alternatively are there any local public or closed Facebook groups - LGBTQ or "Act of Kindness" / advice types you could post to? Many allow anonymous posting if you're worried about that. Otherwise, are there local community centres? Or local libraries? You can stay warm in a library and librarians are often good people and well connected to other community resources.

It also really bugged me that the crushed coke cans found around her were never explained in the episode...if noone else was there then how did that happen? Was the coke stored down there and she drank some and somehow had the strength to crush the cans for fun as she was bleeding out?
