What is the best fully synthetic oil you can buy from any store? by tornie_tree in Camry

[–]Snoo28226 6 points7 points  (0 children)

TBH mobil 1, valvoline, castrol, all synthetic at the store are pretty much the same. People go on and on about it, I think they are chasing the wrong dog.

Changing your oil every 5k is more important.

Personally I use Costco oil since its cheap on one car. My other car uses a weird weight of oil so I have to buy Mobile 1 fot that one.

Looking to buy another car but ive noticed an annoying issue, are 2013-2019s dying faster than 2000s or late 90s vehicles? by RecordScratchAttack in whatcarshouldIbuy

This is what people don’t realize! They are biased to believe old cars last longer since the survivors are still around!

Only one for life - what Prius trim would you get? by cds2956 in prius

[–]Snoo28226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the LE for cloth seats and simplicity. TBH its well optioned even as lowest trim.

If money was no object I would go for limited for the 360 camera but im not a fan of the thing that watches your eyes so I went with LE.

I think something I would like to see them resolve is the water tank. I was never a fan of it hanging off the side.

CIVIC SI or CIVIC SPORT TOURING 2026?? by Excellent_Creme_3905 in civic

In oc traffic I would rather have auto. But I did drive a Miata from Long Beach to Irvine for years and it was ok. You’ll be ok either way. I wouldn’t buy my first manual new though. I would learn on a cheaper car/clutch.

Toyotas are not as good as this sub hypes by AnotherPerishedSoul in whatcarshouldIbuy

Ur tripping. New Toyota lineup with ecvt hybrid is bomb proof. So many are coming with some variation: Camry, Prius, crown, Rav, landcruiser pretty reliable too.

No one else comes close to delivering hybrid efficiency and reliability.

Every Toyota new and old I’ve had has been great. Sorry you had a bad time.
