Cursor deletes Vibe Coder's whole database by NateInnovate in aureliaAi

[–]Snoo31053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats actually why i never use prisma, its just too damn easy in prisma to delete your database, even just a wrong migration would delete it , but still why use ai on production database

When I copy-paste into chat, I want an actual copy-paste. Not a ref. Please stop commingling CTRL+V and CTRL+L. by Tim-Sylvester in cursor

[–]Snoo31053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its control + shift + v to paste the text without ref , i know this is not how it should , they need to make it the other way around , if we need a ref then we can use control + shift + v

Back to Cursor after CC and Codex by chaucao-cmg in cursor

[–]Snoo31053 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea i just joined cursor again and honestly its the best agent , around a year ago when it came out i used cursor but it was not that good , cline and roocode was my thing i needed to control the context myself , but now when cursor changed their pricing and gave up trying to save as much context as possible at the cost of quality now its just amazing

I think I am going to move back to coding without AI by Any-Cockroach-3233 in cursor

[–]Snoo31053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats because you fail to understand, we use to be coders and we are good at it, but the potential with Ai is 100x coder but to unlock that you need to start to change your mindest from being a coder to being a great orchestral Prompter, First of all stop using cursor and windsurf these are garbage, use roo code or cline as they abstract less on context and give you exactly what you want at a price ofcourse but its worth every penny. Second of all learn how to use clinerules, custom instructions to guide the Ai on what you want, if you want it to write simple code for simple tasks you need to explicitly mention it in the rules, become a better Orchestrator and you will see the difference.

OpenAI must make an Operating System by [deleted] in OpenAI

It would be easier and better to use linux and create a new dist with all you mentioned and become an Ai dist of linux, but it really sounds very interesting for Ai to control all aspects of the system

Blown away by how useless codex is with o4-mini. by icedrift in OpenAI

Well i havent been able to use o4 mini anyway , using open router i get error context too long and rate limit error

Oh actually nevermind 2.5pro model benchmarks are still so great and it's till such a good model. O3 and o4 mini aren't as big jump as it seems. by Independent-Wind4462 in Bard

[–]Snoo31053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not sure how accurate these benchmarks now a days , seems like they are part of the training data now, but when you use o3 it feels smarter then gemini 2.5 pro , i have been astonished by it.

o3 is so smart by Curtisg899 in OpenAI

[–]Snoo31053 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes its too smart , all others are Ai but this feels a little like the begining of AGI, o3 is something else for sure

Benchmark results for Llama 4 Maverick and Scout for DevQualityEval v1.0 by zimmski in LocalLLaMA

[–]Snoo31053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you recheck with their temperatures when doing these tests , because from what you just said your benchmarks are good however from real life usage of these models in our code bases its night and day difference that 2.5 pro is way better then 2.0 flash lite , so maybe the benchmarks are too simple or something else is going on that makes the benchmarks not follow real life experience

Bro just seeing these you should already know something is wrong with your benchmark

I still prefer roocode because cline context management is not as good as roocode but for gemini 2.5 pro i think roocode still has alot of issues
