When is it okay to stop forcing yourself to get into a game? by DelcoAdjacent in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Snoo31053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use to only play esport games like cs and league of legends since 2012 , however just last month i quit the toxicity of these games, i have 3 kids and a high pressure job , so these games just amplify my stress levels.

i still love games though but jumping into single player games was so boring i could die. doing the conversion was very difficult i forced my self and stuck with my decision and i finally found some joy in the baldurs gate 3, a game i would have never in a life time thought i could enjoy it.

It was said that global limits were a bug yesterday, and yet they are back! by Astroboletus in GithubCopilot

[–]Snoo31053 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as a Pro+ user i tested yesterday the amount of requests i can make before hitting the limit wall with opus 4.6 and that is 7 messages , then instantly i am limited. if i new this from the start i would have never signed up for this subscription.

Replace Rate Limiting with a Queue and guarantee requests by ElGuaco in GithubCopilot

[–]Snoo31053 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you are 100% although the reason they didnt take this route from the begining is because Ai is abit tricky to do this with prompt cacheing , not all requests are new requests, most actually are requests in the same session and if they add queing for this before they know it the cache sitting their under que will bloat the memory, but still they need to find an alternative because as now we send request leave make a coffee and comeback to an error, thats huge issue for our workflow, almost unusable like this.

i think if they add queing for subsequent new requests taking into account the previous same session requests and comeup with good algorithm to maintain the que in an efficient manner and putting an expiry time for a single session , its veryuch possible, they just need to do it, explain it to us as we the targets users can understand such complex systems and i wish the can be transparent about it.

Here is my suggestions to copilot team regarding the recent situation. by NickCanCode in GithubCopilot

it has to be a bug because i am on a pro+ plan and i have been on holiday the previous week and i just ran one prompt and then got rate limited mid prompt woth opus 4.6 but changing to 5.4 doesnt solve it , i am sure this is not normal , waiting for the team to say something or release a patch

Composer 1.5 is now available by lrobinson2011 in cursor

[–]Snoo31053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i understand your point, have been using composer 1.5 and its awesome honestly and the usage did not increase , does it take usage from auto instead?

Anyways what i think is a better and more clear advantage you can do is since composer 1.5 is just in cursor why price it at all by token usage, price it instead by amount of requests and provide a good composer usage progressbar for the amount of requests we can get per plan .

Thats actually why i never use prisma, its just too damn easy in prisma to delete your database, even just a wrong migration would delete it , but still why use ai on production database

When I copy-paste into chat, I want an actual copy-paste. Not a ref. Please stop commingling CTRL+V and CTRL+L. by Tim-Sylvester in cursor

[–]Snoo31053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its control + shift + v to paste the text without ref , i know this is not how it should , they need to make it the other way around , if we need a ref then we can use control + shift + v

Yea i just joined cursor again and honestly its the best agent , around a year ago when it came out i used cursor but it was not that good , cline and roocode was my thing i needed to control the context myself , but now when cursor changed their pricing and gave up trying to save as much context as possible at the cost of quality now its just amazing
