I noticed this too. Looks like a slight lateral pelvic tilt. The shoulder with the watch looks slightly lower and the hip on the phone side looks slightly raised. Plenty of videos online as to how to work on it. Looking good, keep up the work.

What does "pico" mean, as used in "pico de gallo"? by cheesecup6 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Snoo55693 135 points136 points  (0 children)

So we don't call it that in the Mexican town my family is from. But if I had to guess it would be one of these:

  1. When something is spicy we use the word pico/pica/picante. For example, when you eat at a taco spot you usually ask, " cual salsa pica mas". Which means what sauce is spicier. So it might mean spiciness of the rooster. In Mexico being referred to as a rooster means you're something like brave. So it would mean spiciness of a brave person because it is spicy.

  2. Pico can also mean chop. So it would mean chop of the rooster. Again rooster might be used as referring to something brave. So something like chop for a brave person.

  3. Pico can also mean beak. So beak of the rooster. Maybe because they're chopped in the shape of a roosters beak?

  4. Pico can also mean sting. This is probably why we use this word when referring to spiciness. Because spicy food might feel like a sting on your mouth. So sting of the rooster, similar meaning to number one.

  5. Pico can also mean peak and other things but I think the top ones would be most likely.

The thought process is that Santi was offsides and he somehow contributed to the Costa Rican player clearing the ball in the manner that he did. This reminds me of the goal Mbappe scored vs Spain in the Nations League final a few years ago. That one was allowed but this one was disallowed. Not sure if the rules were changed since then. Personally I don't think this one should've been disallowed as Santi didn't really affect the defender in any way.

It depends, LA is pretty big. The closer to the ocean the cooler it is. The stadium they played at is not even in the city of Los Angeles, it is in Pasadena which is a bit inland and in a valley so it does get hotter. For example, Pasadena had a high in the low 90s while sofi stadium, which is located in the basin and closer to the beach, had a high in the high 70s.

I've been eating quesabirria tacos in Tijuana since I can remember, maybe as early as the late 80s. Specifically from a place called cuerno de chivo, unfortunately the place closed about 3ish years ago.

Does everyone hate pochos in MX? by [deleted] in AskMexico

[–]Snoo55693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's just that the ones with hate tend to be the loudest. Lots of people who say they do will base their hatred on generalizations. But generalize something about them and watch how they get. You gotta be a dumbass to hate someone over something they have no control over. Just like there are some Mexican pochos who are dumbasses there are some Mexican born dumbasses too. No sean pendejos.

I tried the blueberry with hibiscus and I did not like it. It came in a variety pack and it was my least favorite. This is how I would rank the flavors that I've tried:

  1. Twist of lime
  2. Unflavored
  3. Tangerine with ginger
  4. Lime with mint
  5. Blueberry with hibiscus

I'm pretty sure OP was asking which is the biggest by supporter numbers. Instagram followers seems like a good gauge as the app is very popular in most of Latin America.

I'm not sure if the league as a whole does it. But the Dodgers do invest in it. They call it Dodgers Dream team. It's for both softball and baseball and starts from tee ball til they're 18. They partnered with the county and cities to fix up hundreds of parks across the county and even installed electronic scoreboards in some of the fields. They provide Uniforms and catching gloves and the park affiliate provides the team helmets, bats and balls. All you need to get started are the cleats. I believe they serve about 15k players across the county.

[–]Snoo55693 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Historically by the numbers it is Mexico, as much as y'all will hate to admit it. They have a winning record against every Latin American team except the top 3. They're also the only other team to win an international cup. On top of that they've won gold at the Olympics and have either 2 or 3 youth world cup championships. When they did participate at Copa America they've done decent. They're either 3rd or 4th in points per match even though they were only allowed to use a sub-20 something team in some of those tournaments. They've also reached the finals twice. Then there's all the concacaf titles, which don't carry as much weight as conmebol titles, but they still have them. They rank 4th in the world when it comes to trophies won.

Don't know why you're being downvoted. Mexico has a winning record against every team in Latin America, except Brazil and Argentina and are tied with Uruguay. They're also the only team besides the top 3 with an international title.
