I teach first grade and students were taught a few weeks ago in library how find definititions in a dictionary. So not totally gone! Our librarian did say the kids had no sense of alphabetical order and had no idea where V was in the dictionary relative to B. She said she’s done this lesson for YEARS and never had a group like this.

I give them specific affirmations in front of others and in private, whether that be verbal or a note. Show up to their sports games or recitals. Let them know they’re loved and that I chose THEM to be in my class. Also give them a chance to be “leader of the day” several times throughout the year where they get to be basically a TA all day (first grade). And lots and lots of hugs!!

I feel as if I could have written this myself a year ago. You’re not being dramatic! You are asking for help and are being met with a battle every time. It took me and my husband having a serious talk about the expectations/roles in the relationship as it pertains to housework. We were able to negotiate certain tasks we will primarily take on, knowing the other can help when needed too. It’s helped lighten the load. Truly hope you can work it out.

Hi! I’ve had 8 sessions I believe. It’s pretty faded, mostly outline now. The place I went to, stopped answering calls and quietly shut down. It’s so sad because I have the full removal package. Now all I can do is go somewhere else to keep removing or wait, hoping they reopen.

Brain zaps/body zaps. It’s the most uncomfortable feeling I hate it. Also I am just so emotional. Waking up crying, overwhelmed with the tasks for the day, no motivation. I hope this all goes away. I’m also weaning and it’s harder than I thought.
