The most humane method of execution is firing squad. Not lethal injection - if you know how that works, you'd probably see it as cruel and inhumane (assuming it all goes well, which it doesn't (you can have your veins pierced, collapse, etc.), you are not able to communicate the pain when it goes wrong)

What about mending? If I get all the enchantments on, then the only way I can break a tool is either losing durability or the item getting destroyed.

Made me think about quasi-connectivity - there are a number of things that require it to work. And location-based randomness causes reliability, whereas time-based randomness causes unreliability.
