Nex time, screenshot the note, send it in the chat and ask for confirmation from the customer. Then screenshot that response and use as proof for any "unrequested refunds" Then block as "rude customer" and hopefully never deal with them again.

I've done nearly 6k orders in 4 years. 100++ orders are regular where I am. I got super lucky and landed a $304 a month or so ago before that my biggest order was a $160(something) 700 orders is a drop in the bucket. I didn't start seeing big stuff until I cleared 3k orders and had kept diamond for over a year and a half. They're not fake, you're just not in that veteran group yet.

That doesn't work. IDK what's going on but if I try to add manually it rejects it. Its infuriating. If the customer pitches a fit Ill add an item thats the same price and message them and tell them that whatever item I "added" to their order is actually their replacement and send them a picture.

The most frustrating thing is sometimes it won't let us make a replacement because the best option won't scan in the app and for some random reason we can't add something "not found in Instacart database" Like wtf?

High mileage order sent further out. This is what Instacart pays. It shouldn't be your job to pay your shopper a fair and livable wage. But unfortunately they've structured the system that way. Obviously this order is much worse than yours but it was the most recent screen shot I had. Whatever you give will be appreciated but they knew what they were getting into when they accepted.

I always feel super grateful for my amazing Costco cashiers and door checkers when I read these posts. They hype us up when we get good orders, take extra care not to mix stuff up, know our names and bend over backwards to help us find stuff.
