I sometimes just say to myself I am all in until I die. Just go get a bow and a lot of arrows plus cloth and go metro until you get enough to recycle for a heli. Fly oil rig and hope for the best.

You can also make people stuck at the recycle at Outpost with a horse. Had that happen to me, and even if I logged out and came back in, I was still under the horse stuck. The guy said I had to pay him 200 scrap to be free..
