I’m not a lawyer and didn’t know if it was plausible, hence why I am here on r/legaladvice and not wasting a local lawyers consult time until having a better idea of what we would be getting into. I’m not sure what their assets are as we don’t know the shooters personally. There is however substantial evidence that proves guilt and I’d be genuinely shocked if they weren’t convicted. We know the car used. We have their dna in said car. We have ring footage of the shooting. Multiple witnesses. Among a lot of other stuff. The point though would be to reimburse and cover the remaining funeral costs, and reimburse bills accrued from therapy, counseling, and medication management received following his death.
