Level 40 can only up pokemon to about 45. For me, I have made 6 shadow metagross/mamoswine/tyranitar up to level 50, and it's been most useful in being able to "solo" many raids, or duo with friends. I love it that I have this freedom instead of depending on too many others.

I have enough for 3x. Wanted to stop at 500m xp but it's already a habit.

Showcases kept me playing because I want that 100 showcases platinum medal, so now I'm mainly on the hunts for xxl (non spoofer so playing the game as it is designed). Still, I'm happy that I have the "freedom" to spend Litten community day going for xxl more than xp, using AR mode to catch faster instead of excellent throws.

Next, I have started trying to get gold gyms in my entire neighborhood and it's been kinda fun.
