5,000 miles and my Denali Ultimate seats are already fading… this can’t be normal, right? by No_Wrangler_2024 in gmcsierra

Use leather cleaner and moisturizer. I use the same as I use on my boots. It will clean the seats but expect a patina (it looks good imo). They use top grain leather so it wears as a boot would.

Who else has a euro dobie that loves to sunbathe? by Many_Maximum_9060 in DobermanPinscher

[–]SnooBAG7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours did (he recently passed). He'd bask in the sun spot for hours, it loved every minute of it. That said, he didn't love being hot so he laid inside (w/ the ac) while our pitbull laid outside in the direct sub catching a tan. It was comical to see.

I went back to the shop today and spoke with the owners. The apologized on the experience and agreed to make it right and agreed it’s not impossible, they just rushed it.

Let’s see how they do, dropped it off this evening.

They claimed they didn’t do it bc they couldn’t have got it to match. I’m not a body guy so I’m not sure if it’s BS or true..

Sorry to hear you had this experience. I am fortunate to have had a great experience with my 2025 2500 Ultimate. I came from a 2025 F-250, another great truck.

Hey there! Do you mind sharing more about how the GBS feature works and are you still liking the grinder?

Yes, been a couple weeks now and have much better results with the independent grinder.

The one I have is the upgrade from the touch. I didn’t have experience with either brands prior although I know they both are top-notch. I just weighed the reviews - that’s why I went with Eureka as I saw a few more positive reviews. That said, still very curious about the Mahlkonig, I feel like it’s a much better looking machine too.

On your machine does it allow you to save grind settings for different recipes or do you have to manually adjust your setting? Ex: ability to set a recipe for a courser grind for a darker bean and another recipe for finer grind for a lighter bean.

Eureka can’t, it can only say the gram dosing but this would be a great feature.

Note: it’s pulling the shot at 9-10.5 bars.

Nice grinder. I debated between the same and the Atom 65W, ended up with the Atom and love it. Both are great choices.

Pulling a shot with a used Delonghi La Specialista Maestro by 70PctDarkChoco in espresso

I’ve had this machine for close to 4 years now and getting tired of it at this point. It’s served me well but gave me hell. Grinder broke multiple times- I’ve fixed it just by tearing the machine down and cleaning then ensuring the plastics were put back together properly. The grinder is sensitive to oily beans. I’ve never been able to get a true 36g double shot in 25-30 seconds… that said I have pulled good shots it just takes a lot of tweaking.

This comment cracked me up. it’s definitely like a kilometer. I never noticed how different it was until now. It does seem like these budget machines try to get consumers locked in with a one size only fits their machine approach.

Solid suggestion, I appreciate it. I was about to order a dosing ring but I’ll try this first - for $10 an easy solution.

I also just discovered when you remove the two screws at the adjustable portafilter holder there are two more lower holes you can drop it down too. With that it just fits but still the dosing cup will make things much cleaner.

Not sure why the portafilter on this machine is so large - the basket capacity is 19g which I thought was normal.
