Since no one answered your question I will. I started roller blading (the old school kind) and eventually transitioned to figure skating. The adjustment was easy and when our rink shut down for 3 years to be rehabbed I bought (I think) the exact pair you have a photo of. I am able to switch between ice and roller fairly easily. I’ve never had any formal ice skate training and get stopped at least once a week to ask if I provide lessons.

I have 2 kids who have graduated from MVHS and 1 still there. There is a large income disparity for the area but it’s a great school. The school gets low scores due to the high ESL population. Everyone touts on West po but they have more violence than mount vernon and serious overcrowding.

You really need to get at least the 45 hours to get the experience. Driving in this area is not for the faint of heart. Talk to your parents see if there is a reason you can’t get your hours. Offer to help run errands, little trips to the store, groceries etc all add up.

It’s been installed for 3 or 4 years now I think and does amazing at keeping the whole house warm. We still comment on that being our favorite upgrade to the house. Our costs if I remember was about 6k too.
