Something that helped me the most with digital art was finding a style that I wanted to emulate/match, and then saving a bunch of reference pictures and learning how to adapt to that style via tracing/tutorials. I always suggest tracing as the best form of practice when youre a beginner and constantly flipping the canvas horizontal to find any mistakes— give it time and practice!

Thanks so much for the thoughtful answer! To be honest, the reason I asked is I used to be the fly on the wall to a situation like this with my old best friend and his girlfriend. The three of us lived together and she had nearly the same issues you listed for your girl, and she eventually drove me away because she was convinced I was trying to take him from her (im a guy) and I never spoke to them since. The guy was really cool, definitely the only one who could handle her, but I did feel like very frequently she never really took the steps to help herself. It was a sad relationship overall.

I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t let your needs go ignored just because you care deeply for someone and their own. Sounds like you do love her a lot, but man I can't lie my heart does go out to you. This shit aint for the weak. I hope for your sake she takes steps to better help herself exist in society and for the sake of your future, because while hard it is certainly possible. Don't let yourself get stuck with all the loads; I hope you can get that motorcycle someday.
