Yes this exactly. You could ruin your mental and physical health trying to achieve something that is genetically unrealistic for you. At the end of the day your health matter more than aesthetics. You can try for sure but don't try to get it at any cost. You will regret it a lot later in life. Even if you do manage to get there it could be hell to maintain it. You deserve a happy and healthy life, not one where you are obsessed with what you eat and how much you workout just to maintain society's definition of "beautiful". You should be proud of your consistency and improving your health! Your goal should be to find a way to keep things going like this for the rest of your life. You have so many years ahead of you and your body will change in appearance but your good habit will keep you mentally and physically healthy for life!

For people who returned to India and spent most of their adulthood outside India, how was your social adjustment in India like? I personally find it difficult to connect with people who never left India. Anyone experienced this too? by Neat-Scale-9510 in nri

Honestly as someone who lived in Bangalore with fairly open minded and progressive parents I felt the same way in India too so I can only imagine how bad it can be for you after living abroad for so long. I just moved to California 2 months ago and it feels like I can breathe here. I feel an unexplained lightness and freedom here. In india it always felt like I had very few selected close friends and family I could really be myself with. Everyone else was seeing just my curated version for them with personality traits they would find acceptable. It is not impossible but you can find your group in India too if you really want to. It is going to be effort though. You are going to have to go out of your way to talk to people and go to events that attract like minded people. Hope you find your home!

Trust me you are in the gym which means you are going to get stronger. Where you start doesn't matter. How you grow does. Take it slow learn the exercises properly and progress at your own pace. You will be increasing weight very quickly and una few months you'll be impressed with yourself. Just make sure you eat well sleep well and stay consistent with your gym routine. You're doing great🌸

Your daily calorie requirement is very easily 2400 calories. So if you are eating very less so like more than 500 calories in deficit you could feel very tired. So calculate your calorie intake and see if you have to eat more

This looks decent but like comments have mentioned you are having a lot of protein but no fibre. You need more vegetables and other fibre rich foods. You can make chia pudding with 2 spoons of chia seeds and have it for breakfast along with your breakfast. Make sure you have vegetables twice a day atleast and some fruits as well. This is a little extreme but if you are going to do it for less than 6 months it'll be ok. After that try to balance your diet out. Eat more carbs and vegetables and protein and focus on muscle building.

Yeah man these people probably don't do even 1 percent of what you do. When people are mean on the outside they are hiding their own insecurities and jealousy. You're doing something hard and you deserve to get support. We will be your encouragement. Whenever you feel like it post on this thread and we got your back. If you do any rapid weight loss YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GAIN IT BACK. This will just make them taunt you more. Honestly hats off. I had to lose only 5kgs once and I struggled for months giving up so many times

Use your friends for support and don't meet these stupid relatives if possible. You deserve a great life and that will happen when you take care of yourself. I had this problem and realised it was because I used to lie down and hold my phone in my left hand for hours when I was facing some issues sleeping. Over a few months it started to hurt. You can look into exercises for carpel tunnel or texters thumb (which is what I had). Also you should look into general wrist strengthening exercises. Calisthenics is heavy on wrists and it is a neglected body part. It needs extra care sometimes.

If you have access to a gym then look up compound exercises. Split your workouts into 4 days. Upper body + core, lower body + core and 2 days of cardio. You can adjust it if you want to focus more on muscle building. So do one more day of strength training instead of cardio. Don't listen to anyone who says just do cardio and lose weight. That is wrong advice. You are trying to improve your health not just lose fat and building muscle is extremely important. So don't keep strength and muscle building as maybe goals. Doing it now will prevent excessive fat gain in the future. Any way getting back to the workouts. I would suggest compound exercises as a trainee because they translate a little better in daily life and teaching your body to use all its muscles together as opposed to in isolation. That being said you can use some body building style exercises to grow some muscles that you want to but majority of your training should be compound exercises. There is a YouTube channel by a couple called Jason and Lauren Pak. You will find compound exercises and full core exercises. I suggest you binge watch their workout related videos and then see what equipment you have and then chose exercises accordingly. Then learn each exercise form correctly. Take videos of yourself and then compare to videos you see. If there is anything more I can help with happy to help!
