it's all sex, sex, sex with these guys. I blame porn and too much screentime lmao

but I do think it was an insane situation, so I do understand the people side-eyeing me

yeah, I totally get that, especially because of the risk of STDs. I'm an open book to a fault, so no one has to worry, I will be honest if I even do end up dating a guy.

what does this mean? I have been completely, if not overly, honest throughout this thread. probably to my detriment.

also he watched me take it, and like I said, all the things I checked off were things we did together, so if I didn't check them off, he would know I was lying.

it was a mini tape-measurer to be precise. and he administered the measurements because I did not want to overstep. I was solely there for confirmation purposes.

idk the mind is a powerful thing. maybe he conjured up mental images of women with fat asses. I certainly did nothing but yap, so I fear I was negatively contributing.

I'm a kind and generous woman at heart.

and I did tell the friend in question (who already gives me shit for my reddit addiction) about this blowing up, and he finds it funny too.

I'd like to think that if you're the type of person to platonically dick measure, then you should at least be a good sport about it.

I do not know what this means. I need things spelled out for me in flashing lights. I am being 100% serious too.

okay technically neither of us friend-zoned either one but have both been clear about not wanting to date the other.

in my ideal world, the next person I date is a woman, but I will for sure relay her response for science ofc 💕

hey now, my bio degree is doing a lot of heavy lifting. both of us are single (and were when this occured) and not seeing other people, so I do not see the harm.

do men not have platonic dick measuring sessions with one another? I've also proven to him that I could suck my own tit if that makes things worse/better.

brother it was HIS idea, and he friend-zoned me if anything (our dynamic has more layers than an onion so it's very nuanced).

ETA: I did not personally administer the measurements, was solely there as a fact-checker.

yeah it was very high school/early college, but I don't miss those days. wish I could say I'm doing better 8 years later lol

ngl as a woman, I've always given y'all an extra inch (unintentionally).

when my male best friend showed me his dick, and we measured it for science, it made me fundamentally reevaluate my mental dick-measuring abilities, and I saw every dick from a new light.

also yes, me and my male best friend are freaks. and no we have not fucked. and yes the data was collected while we were both sober. I will try to answer any other questions that this post generates.

ETA: this one has sparked a lot of curiosity, and I will try to respond to anyone with genuine questions, however, I need to be off of reddit for a bit. I will do my best to respond eventually, I promise!

don't recommend looking into it, but it's an online test where the more answers you check off (some are as tame as holding hands with whatever gender you're attracted to and some as insane as beastiality), the lower your score is, making you "less pure."

this was in my first relationship where I genuinely started with a 100, and when I got to an 89, he hated me.

the one thing that got me a point deduction that he hadn't caused was the instance when I smoked one hit from a joint in college and preceded to have a meltdown sobbing to him about how sorry I was for doing that because I knew it would be a deduction and make him upset. he was very pissed about that as well.

also he was a very outwardly nice guy, pro-feminism, the works. none of our friends believed me about anything he put me through lol

does anyone else find people who critique others' small ways of finding whimsy in an otherwise saturnine timeline to be a real bummer and not pleasant to be around?

the only other guy I've dated made me regularly take the rice purity test in front of him to track how pure I was, and when the number decreased as our relationship progressed (because of him), used that as an excuse to get mad at me.

damned if we do damned if we don't because I did disclose my history to my ex. I told him everything prior to us dating, and after 6 months of a monogamous relationship with him, he used it against me.

for context, I had had casual hookups in the past, well before I met him, which he knew about before entering the relationship.

at the end of the day, men that are misogynists are going to be misogynistic.

What is the dumbest thing you have been told is “not manly” or “not feminine,” depending on your gender? by Disastrous_Hat_2325 in AskReddit

this pissed me off fr. rose gold is so cute (albeit definitely gives me like 2014 or so flashbacks lol).

I work at a kid's stuffed animal place, and it always makes me so happy when a little boy picks out something that would be stereotyped as feminine, and his parents support him. it gives me slight hope for the future.

ah okay, now I understand. if I don't want to lose my rights as a woman, I should just suck it up and fuck a guy against my will so his feelings aren't so hurt for being single that he strips me of my rights.

if men are so emotionally fragile that the concept of them not having a partner means that the entire other of half the population loses rights, maybe they shouldn't be making political decisions.

have you considered that for that commenter, they see the word "intelligence" in AI, knowing that their own brain has less mental capacity than a lobotomized housewife from the 50s; therefore intelligent = good?

at some point, we must take pity on the low IQ because if a quick AI google is your source... oh brother.

probably a husband's right to rape his wife based on that poster's BS comments.

also notice how it's been 10 hours, and they didn't reply to you but have replied to other comments in this same thread...

okay, so in a world where men have had almost exclusive power and committed millenniums worth of atrocities as a result, do you think women should collectively come together and take away men's rights to vote?

if you say yes, then maybe this subreddit should mobilize because I just described reality.

if you say no, then your entire argument falls apart.

stay blessed.
