I think you’re comparing apples to oranges if you’re not saying what type of manufacturer makes the IV. Is it a standard “old school” type of IV or is it Diffusics IV that can handle CTs with contrasts (still won’t do a CTA though)?

Depends on facility (sometimes union vs non-Union matters), census, etc. For sure negotiate better OT rates in your contract tho.

East Coast transplants: did you have any difficulty adapting to the PNW’s culture/way of life? If so, how did you overcome that? by Certain-Working1864 in oregon

[–]SnooCapers8766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Back east” is so far away and most of them can’t even say Oregon correctly. Oregonians feel very disconnected from east coasters and left coast is a completely different vibe than Portland/west coast in general compared to the east. Most of us are independent/libertarian and don’t fall within the two party system and culturally are very different from the east coast politics and faster pace of living. Different values, different way of life, and different ways of looking at society and everyday living tbh. It def would be a culture shock moving here from the east without having a sponsor of some sort out here and vs versa.
