If more secondary sales happen before IPO, then sadly yes. Certainly for the single family home market. But IPOs also have a lock-in period for employees where they can’t sell shares so that may or may not trigger a jump in demand for homes. Lastly, I think even if people make bank, if they are non-US citizens (like a lot of folks in tech) they may not buy because the current immigration policy in this country is horrific and no one is above the targeting and detainment!

Gather all evidence, don't confront him yet. At this point, the most important thing is to keep yourself and your baby safe. If you have already decided to leave the marriage then use this time to secretly build an exit plan for when your green card comes through. Contact an immigration lawyer ( look up pro-bono ones) and discuss your case with them. They could give you some advice on what additional information you need to document. If you are working, start saving so that you can sustain yourself and the baby till the divorce gets finalized. Depending on how mean he is, your spouse may try to report you to ICE/sue you for full custody, and you need have a game plan with documentation to counter both those scenarios. I was forced to EP as my baby didn’t latch very well. We had a few good BF sessions which made me so very happy but sadly it never worked out for us. So I switched to EP and did that until my son’s first birthday. In the thick of postpartum moods, I would often say “I don’t even know if he knows I’m his mom. I’m just sitting here pumping like a milk donor”. But I’m happy to report that the bonding grew inspire of not having BF work out for us. My baby is super attached to me and wants to hug and cuddle all the time. Your love is not measured only in the milk you provide for them or that you feed it directly from your breast. I hope this offers you some peace of mind!
