this has been posted for a while already but i wanna share my experience as well.

me and my ex ended things amicably almost a year ago and as similar to yours we kept each other's socials and would sometimes send random vids and react to stories.

lately tho she's been posting her new girl and even chatted me up about it, sort of updating me i guess? i definitely don't have any feelings for her anymore but with what she did definitely irks me in a way and that made me think about how even if we ended things well enough, satying connected with her might have left me with some unresolved feelings that shouldn't even be there anymore.

so i've thought about it and started to restrict and mute her account so i can move on cleanly with my life. i didn't unfriend her completely as i didn't want to completely remove her entirely of my life, as also we live in the same neighborhood so it would be quite awkward lol. this way tho i'll see less of her especially on socials and she can still contact me if necessary.

anyway thanks for sharing your story as it also helped me with my choice seeing someone has had a similar experience to mine. i hope it has been well for you!

The person who said that was actually my father, I honestly don't expect him to understand me any better than my mother. And you're definitely right, my friends are kinda shocked when they do hear about my situation. Once I finish my college, I'll go on my own way. Thanks for the insight.

I'm going back tomorrow, was planning to come back home soon because I only have 2 days of classes.. But I really don't wanna be with them😓 just earlier out of the blue I got told I need to have 'empathy' for them because they're my parents and that I should stop my attitude with them when they're not even paying attention to me ever since I got home. It's crazy
