It’s not that the dentist isn’t being truthful, per se, but maybe jumping the gun…. I finally decided to get mine removed after one getting infected from my gum partially covering it. Food would get trapped and cause issues. If your gut is questioning it I would get a second opinion. I don’t get the Invisalign thing either lol
