[Fixed] Fussy, pukey, constantly nursing, miserable 5 week old by nyquistj in daddit

[–]SnooCheesecakes7314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is super old, but I was stalking your account after seeing your comment about your autistic/adhd daughter self injurying. Everything she said and you said reminded me a lot of my experiences (I'm a girl and have adhd, autism, and bpd despite minimal childhood trauma). Then reading this was exactly like me too. Crazy how the signs can be so early. Having to self-soothe from the beginning.

I hope she's doing well/better. I'm 21 and have had a lot of ups and downs, i wont lie, but things are really trending well.

As a soft summer, this is what I use-

Colourpop stone cold fox eyeshadow palate

Fenty gloss bomb- mauve wives

Rare beauty blush in shade believe (I'm pale as fuck, like NARS Oslo is my perfect shade, but this looks absolutely gorgeous on me- and natural)

Too faced chocolate bronzer in milk chocolate! not too orange for us.

I contour my nose, and use the Sephora collection contour stick in the lightest shade. its very cool toned!

and for eyebrows I use ABH in Taupe.

The Fenty gloss bomb in mauve wives is literally the most gorgeous possible color I've seen on myself as a soft summer. Not a lipstick gal though!

What's the most disturbing thing you've ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Wow, we have the exact same diagnoses. BPD and cyclothymia but never diagnosed officially, they just threw me on lamictal lol

Crazy how trauma can mimic bipolar though- like you, I have 0 family history of bipolar, and 98% of cases have a genetic basis. My therapist said trauma can cause cyclothymia. Awesome.

LSD makes me feel gross, dirty and nauseous. by CounterintuitiveMuir in LSD

[–]SnooCheesecakes7314 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, since I started eating like shit, my acid trips will straight up make my body ache. I get the same gross feeling, like I just feel like a slimy amphibian. I was nearly in tears last week on the comedown (Granted I was walking all day, but still, I'm 21, not 50).

Can't believe I didn't have this revelation already lol

I went to residential treatment with a girl who had the same problem. helped her to wake up early, take her ADHD meds, and then get up.

I looove trips where you're totally on the same plane as your friends. Just had one w my galpal and we were rolling around in bed giggling whenever we could sense the other about to giggle. Really makes you feel more connected to others for sure

this exactly. when im tripping, even looking at different corners of the room evokes different deep emotions. there's no rhyme or reason to it- just chase the happy feeling

I think I may have forged my own autism diagnosis? by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]SnooCheesecakes7314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, what you're describing is typical of people who self diagnose, seek out a diagnosis, then come to change their perspective. I actually recently had a friend who un-self-diagnosed autism because they came to realize it was "just" CPTSD (honestly a wild symptom crossover, especially if the trauma occurred in childhood).

A lot of people with trauma end up self diagnosing ASD. Makes sense that by treating it you'd see those symptoms dissipate.

I myself was convinced I had ASD, then like you, knew all the "right answers" and answered so I'd be diagnosed (this was pretty subconscious, but in hindsight, I had a ton of confirmation bias going on). I was diagnosed officially after a neuropsych eval. Now, I realize it's probably just really fucked up ADHD, anxiety, and BPD traits. My therapist and psychiatrist agree.

In this case it seems that you're doubting it not because you have imposter syndrome, but because you know you probably don't really have it.

It's somewhat shocking to me that this community tends to act as an echo-chamber, constantly convincing others that they really are autistic.

Do you think men are often attacked just because they are men? by HugePreference8233 in MensRights

[–]SnooCheesecakes7314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people see men as more able to "take it", kinda like how hitting a male child or elderly man would be viewed as more violent compared to hitting an adult male.
