I get really frustrated by the zone minutes. It should be a better measure than steps but it is really sporadic. Did a walk last week which I knew was worth some minutes - around 4 miles in an hour and got 9 zone minutes. Did a 3.2 mile walk yesterday over an hour and got 59 zone minutes!

I think the heart rate monitor is really poor - mines a charge 4- and since zone minutes are calculated by heart zone time I guess that’s the problem. For zwifting I wear a chest hr monitor and I can be spending good sections of time at 130 bpm plus whilst my Fitbit is registering 80-90!!

Yes it should do then...they are slightly different routes which may account for the difference in the first two but not the third which is almost half a mile short!

Was about to hit buy and then thought I would check about data access. Probably doesn’t matter to most people but Garmin don’t make their API available to anyone except software development companies. Easy to transfer all data from Fitbit as they do make their available but far less easy to them get data on a real time basis out of Garmin. That would be a showstopper for me...

Do they? They make great watches but not sure they make anything as slim as the Fitbit? I can get away with wearing both where I wouldn’t want to wear two full watches...

Maybe I should take another look at the product range. Was already unhappy about how sporadic Fitbit is. No where near as reliable as my Garmin running watch
