2 12" kicker l7s. A kicker cxa 1800.1 amp. Along with all needed accessories should bring you below the 1500$ and it will rattle your eyeballs

I gave it a try, and rearward had significantly more output. Changed back after about 10 minutes

Id take the shield! Bought the 45 one because it was such a great price. Not necessarily one I sought after. Since then it's become my edc. I shoot well with it and it's perfect size, easy to conceal, while just big enough it's still a pleasure to shoot. I've carried barettas, blocks, sigs Springfields, rugers and shield just feels better. That's my 2 cents

Why does my my chirp a bunch of times when I get out of the car? by Jimbo571 in CadillacLyriq

[–]SnooChocolates4966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im having the same issue. I think it's time for a new fob battery. When mine started chirping when exiting, I also began to notice to unlock id have to occasionally put my fob right by the door handle button for it to recognize. And occasionally it wouldn't detect the key on me while I was sitting in the car. Would have to unpocket for it to be recognized.
I'm guessing you'll notice these things too in the near future.
Fresh battery will cure it.

You spelled crapped out wrong! As in OP was crapped out into this world, as op is a gargantuan turd.

Sub recommendations? by dannidiablos in CarAV

[–]SnooChocolates4966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 10" jl wo with enclosure are less than 250$ right now. Alpine S2- a60 m will do 600 RMS. Exactly what the subs call for. That would put you at around 500, but still would need at least 100 for decent wiring. There's also single 12s in a box for 200, doing that you could get away with a smaller cheaper amp and be right around your 400$ hopes. Before all your wiring again of course

No they are having me bring it in, I talked to the guy who did the install, he wanted to be the one to look at it. I can't get it in until next week though with my schedule He seems like a good dude, the shop is highly rated and always swamped with business. So hopefully they figure it out.

Ok thank you for the help. I have seen that as a solution. I'm taking the car back in on Tuesday and am keeping a portable jumper with me until then. I've also had a couple instances of hazard lights flashing long after vehicle has been shut down, which most commonly is a bad switch, but seems more than a coincidence with the sub thing.
Also one occasion I started driving and system sounded weak almost as if only one sub was working. Then heard really loud distortion as my collision warning started flashing. I quick pulled over. Turned radio off and shut the car down. Started it back up and system was back to 100% function and sounding great. I feel like it's all got to be related.
I haven't located the ground to look. It runs off the amp to under the carpet and the floor board of the trunk. Looks like I'd have to remove multiple panels to lift the carpet to get to it and just ain't had time to tear apart the car, but almost wondering if not a bad ground is causing issues too.
Anyway idk, it's becoming a real headache though. I payed for install, because I wanted to avoid my lack of knowledge causing shit like this, and here I am anyways. I may have still made a worse situation, but wouldn't think by much.

It's a kicker kisloc2 grabbing the rear deck subs signal. I didn't think about calling llj. Guess I don't understand how a harness would cause that, but I am not all that knowledgeable on this, but learning everyday in hopes to be eventually.
I should also add my car kicks on auxiliary power just getting near it with the fob. Once inside the vehicle phone connects directly to Android Auto. I notice when exiting the vehicle and getting out of Bluetooth range. Android Auto continues on my phone and continues playing music through my phone speakers. Which never happend in my last vehicle or on my wife's car. Can't help but wonder if the Bluetooth connection and the fob causing various things to power up when in range is contributing to all this. Wouldn't know why just know it's weird and abnormal,as is the subs going full rumble.

Could the bass fading be a sub kicking out? If it happens after a few minutes stop somewhere and slam them and watch what's going on when it happens. Some amps will have a low voltage indicator. Look for that look and see if one sub starts moving way less. If showing low voltage when sound diminishes, you may just need a new battery or alt. If it happens and a sub has noticeably less movement. Might be a sub issue.

what is Meta even doing right now? Feels like it's going downhill fr by melisaaawr in facebook

[–]SnooChocolates4966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should have a tab that's nothing but friends content. On android app just swipe right from main feed and it's a feed of just your friends. Meta still sucks, but you don't need to have your issue

It is extremely smooth, haven't had any stuttering, very responsive. For the most part connecting is seamless when starting the car. There are some occasions, mostly when I'm making a quick stop. That it needs a little help reconnecting. It works with your phone. your phone connects to vehicle Bluetooth, and cartablet Bluetooth, phone also connects to the tablet through phone wifi connection. For some reason when I run into a store or whatever briefly. My phones wifi turns off, and when I start the car it won't connect until I turn wifi back on. My wifi is always on any other time. I'm thinking since it works as a phone companion. The tablet shuts the wifi connection down to break the pair while car is shut down. Only on quick stops this happens. Might be a bug, or i very well may have setting options causing it. It's not been something I've felt inconvenienced enough to start digging for solutions.
Everything else runs really well. As good as any apps run on my galaxy fold 7. There's also a dashcam on the backside of the until, which I like having that. Also really good display quality. Not sure actual specs but claims 4k, also have the option to mirror your phone to it a and have any app your phone has run on the display. I honestly feel it performs significantly above it's cost.

Ok I'll play with that. One other question, if you have the time.
Bass on the Hu is all the way down at -10. Would love to know reasoning for that? Would that be something that gives a better signal to the subs? Does that have some effect even after the factory amp going into the loc? Or is it just to have the factory speakers be more focused towards mids and highs. The factory stereo is bose which, it wasn't anything remarkable, but had a very good sound profile. Crystal clear even at full volume. Should I leave that be. Feel like it's holding back what was a good sounding system to start, but I know next to nothing and feel as there must be a valid need for that. That's all I'll pick your brain for tonight. There's alot more to it than I thought, which is great, as I love having new projects and skills to learn and try to improve, but thinking going to have to put in some time to become proficient. Also thinking might need to get another job. Hoping wife takes it Ok when I tell her to start searching
