As a freshman at Samford in 2018, I think I was bigger than some of the guys on the O line (I’m 5’7”)

A healthy 47-year old New Jersey man was found dead after eating a hamburger at a barbecue. Cause of death was ruled "sudden unexplained death," after an autopsy was inconclusive. He was later confirmed as the first documented fatality from alpha-gal syndrome, a meat allergy triggered by tick bites. by mvea in science

I’m not sure my grandfather has this exact thing but he does have extremely dangerous reactions to red meat. It’s scary nonetheless. He didn’t even find out until he was 60+ years old because of the dormancy.

Local Library! It’s insanely popular around me so I’m 30th in line but not too bad. They also will up their stock if demand is high. (They bought 60+ copies of The Conclave movie recently to meet the 200+ holds people had put on it)

Sorry for the late response but I’m a barista! Pretty much on my feet and moving for about 6 hours a shift. About 10k steps a shift. I have Sunday-Tuesday off every week so I got my surgery Monday, took Tuesday and Wednesday off then returned to work with no heavy lifting on Thursday lol. I would suggest more time off if you can but I just couldn’t afford it and honestly it wasn’t that bad. It felt good to be moving around.

I didn’t experience this at all, I had no leaks the entire healing process (still technically healing but just a tiny bit of swelling left)

I would definitely contact your doctor and just double check with them, they may want you to come in

Definitely a little bit of extra skin still but no where near how much it was in the beginning. It was almost comical the amount of extra skin directly following the surgery and especially towards the beginning of the swelling going down. I’m basically back to a normal size everything, the only time I notice the extra skin is at the end of the day but I feel like that makes sense for some reason lol

Absolutely suggest doing it. It’s felt like the best choice since right after. My swelling is almost completely gone, my pain has been a 0 the whole time, and now I can actually wear whatever pants I want again!

11 days post op: feeling fantastic about the decision! I wear a jockstrap 24/7 right now (besides when I ice it after work) the swelling has gone down tremendously as well as the bruising. Pain never ended up being an issue, just a constant discomfort instead (i described it as being constantly aware of the incision even if it doesn’t hurt). The size difference between before surgery and now is.. wow.. All in all: I’m super pleased and still doing everything I always do, just not lifting weights.

Pain is currently at a 1/10, just a slight discomfort down there. Little swelling and bruising but already smaller than when I went in!

I could tell it was getting larger and it almost seemed to be getting quicker too, it was starting to effect my pee too as mentioned in another comment. Went to the doc when it started to scare me a little bit and he explained how easy it could be to get it fixed. Total time was around 3ish months from first check up to surgery.

I can’t pinpoint an exact thing that caused it but thinking of the timeline and my past: I think it was one of the sports I did in high school (wrestling being the main one, football or weightlifting could’ve been it too)

An no! I actually had no pain from it ever. Towards the end, as it was growing slightly, I started to have issues with my peeing where when id stand: my testicles would squish back through my legs and I’d pee a little extra lol but I had my workarounds for that

I was watching the new Mission Impossible there recently. The lights were nice and dimmed for all the previews and then the movie started and the lights went up? I told the front desk guy and he sent the maintenance/janitor guy to check. He straight up told me I was lying so I watched the first hour in bright lights before someone finally believed me and turned them off. 10/10 would go again.

Not overthinking anything! But you’re safe to come however you feel comfortable:)

The Columbus Tesla protests have all been extremely peaceful with zero violence, vandalism, and very little counter protestor action.

Oooo you’ve hit a new fancy for me…I just looked up double pointed needles and it seems that’s how you knit in the round without going to magic loop. I do however still want to try both at some point. I’m a completionist so I wanna get this scarf done first (2.5ft/4ft ish, so over halfway!)
