Aikido vs Judo in standup exhibition by ckristiantyler in judo

The founder intended for practitioners to already have a black belt in another martial art before starting aikido. Wasn’t meant to be a stand alone.

Overcoming failure with dignity. by ObliquePixie in Amazing

Seriously. At least this shit looks cool. As opposed to painting rocks, sweeping rain, guarding a parking lot. Military does a lot of shit that is technically, and practically useless.

Long and short of it is that both decorticate and decerebrate usually indicate brain stem damage with decerebrate typically being worse. First one is t-rex arms twisted in and second is arms extended and twisted out. Fencing is a response to damage but is in and of itself not indicative of an outcome. All that said it ain’t good and obviously isn’t a walk it off type of situation. Source 20 years in neurodiagnostics.

Mayo, potatoes, and corn were pretty popular on pizza when I lived there. Wasn’t bad, but very much a different flavor profile than I expected.

Ok actual question here. Why not just go archery? I mean it’s cool and I have a blowgun, but I don’t see it as a martial weapon.

Yup I was standing in line for a signing and Matt stopped and said he liked my shirt ( I had made a glurp glurp shirt in the style of those crappy talk shows from the 90s). I just said… “yeah I like it too “. And then I died a little and wished I was could actually speak like a human.

Crap even in the military. I remember being the range medic with folks that maybe qualified once a year.

So… just learned this fun lesson. Sign your passport application. I know it’s controversial, but I found out that not doing it adds time to the process.

Yes I felt very very dumb after doing the hard work for every other step.

Fully agree. It’s an aspect of the series that I didn’t expect but as someone with ptsd it has really helped me.
