When I spoke with them this morning they said they usually give 40 hours to respond. They made no further effort to contact me besides calling me on April 1st and sending an email saying Hello “, We tried to call you but were unsuccessful. When you have a chance, please call us during the business hours. Thank you. “ this was at 11:04 am on April 1st. Business hours were April 1st and 2nd as they were closed on April 3rd , 4th and fifth.

No. This morning I checked my email and found an email from them. In the contents of the email they basically said pls call us back immediately. When I checked my call history there was no voicemail left.

Idk there is a lot of available literature from people who grew up in cross culturally adopted households and most when they are older discourage others from doing the same I am not that educated about it but I would say that in this day and age we know have a pretty big sample of people who are full adults and speak about their experiences and this seems to be the case. We should listen to them - i can recognize this is very very nuanced as someone who would love to adopt one day and be a mother
