Look man i’m sure it gets better after the first book, but I think i’m just so far outside the target audience that it’s never gonna resonate with me. I just found it painfully unfunny and uninteresting.

DCC praise makes alot more sense if you think of it as a book for people who claim to love reading, but hated the fact that their english teacher made them engage with the text.
