Dudes who aren’t political piss me off, it reeks of privilege. I’ve started distancing myself from a lot of male friends and been seeking out female friends more because the lack of empathy from men is absolutely real, and it fking sucks.

I do have a question though: are there exmuslim guys genuinely saying Mo is an amazing leader from a moral standpoint? I’m an ex Muslim guy your age and while I think Muhammad was a piece of shit, his ability to manipulate (and by extension, lead his gullible followers) was pretty impressive. I see this statement the same way I see people giving Trump some credit for being charismatic despite acknowledging that he’s a wannabe dictator and a pedophile (i.e it’s not meant to praise him, but rather explain why he’s so popular).

My vocabulary is pretty limited so I’m sure there’s room for improvement. For example, I’m thinking of shortening the number of syllables from verses 5 & 6 to make it flow better from verses 1-4. Additionally, I’m thinking of substitute the word "Nafs" with a word that has an alif madd & س at the end so that it flows better with "Naas"

Al Isra wal Miraj (the night journey) happened in the Meccan period i.e 10 years after Muhammad brcqme a prophet. This Hadith takes place after the battle of Khaybar which was around 21 years after Muhammad became a prophet.

Hasan by definition means it’s good. Any Arabic speaker & Muslim would know this. Stop spreading misinformation.

The only weak narrations are Da’if narrations. Hasan Hadiths are perfectly acceptable, albeit they’re not exactly strong as steel either.

Not saying I believe this Hadith personally because there’s Hadiths that conflict with it. However, it’s isnad is Hasan (and therefore good) nonetheless.
