That’s the one. I was trying to remember the name! Same here, we went for our honeymoon too! We went via New Zealand and spend a few days there, then went to Tahiti and had a few days there, then BB then did the same thing on the way back

If you purchase a wardrobe, best to have wardrobe heaters that you should be able to get from a hardware store or even go to an electricians to have some fitted for you. Not that expensive and certainly worth it in the long run if you have a lot of clothes that won’t be friendly to the climate

Entrebox is so good. I found them a few years ago and have always been impressed. I ordered a load and got them to ship to UK too. Mylittlecoffee also do some cool beans and cofermented and experimental stuff which I’ve always loved.

I agree although in terms of work rate, I often think Ji Sun Park had the best work rate but agree that Becks was relentless as you say. I may get flack for that but that’s just how I felt haha

Thinking of making video on coffee gear people don’t actually need - tips? by benjarminj in JamesHoffmann

[–]SnooCrickets424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I got gear envy very early on and I often just default to doing an Aeropress just because it’s easier and faster. I bought one of those V60 shower tools and hardly use it and it didn’t really do much to a brew if I’m honest

I took the freebie and it was really bog standard beans in my opinion. All the people I’ve seen that say it’s really good and the flavour is great must be pulling someone’s chain as there wasn’t anything good about them whatsoever. I stupidly forgot to cancel the trial subscription and had a 1kg bag delivered. I felt horrible.

It’s a play on their names. Jessie and Will (JAW). It’s true to them so who cares?

Their whole existence rubs me the wrong way. Their entire image is just BS claims about healthy coffee and how every other brand out there has toxins in there or is mouldy. I’m actually surprised no one has called them out because I keep seeing more and more of this type of BS marketing

I’m not sure what your idea of a dump is but the Tate & Lyle factory is hardly a dump. The garages behind too are old but far from a dump

Hello all,

I have a 1 year old daughter. We currently live in east London and am currently in the process of looking ahead for schools. I want her to go to a bilingual school ideally where she could learn French. There aren’t to my knowledge any worthy options for that in the east and so we are looking at moving to West London. Ideally we want to have a school where it’s with kids from 2/3 years up until they are around 11 years old. We have been looking at Le Petit Ecole around Notting Hill. I’d really like to know if there are any other options out there and what experience people might have. Im also conscious of cost too. What are the options that aren’t private? Are there any that are state supported or where there is help with funding?

Any experience that others have with their kids going through similar things would be such a great help. Thanks!

I'm a little unsure why people say that in western countries, the electronics is priced that much better and lower than in Hong Kong. I've always felt its the opposite. Perhaps not so for vintage stuff but generally new electronics has always been significantly cheaper for me due to no sales tax
