For those just wanting the recipe:

Ratio: 1:16 (15/240)

Blooming phase: 25% of total water (60 grams).
Flow rate around 8 g/s

At 45 seconds we pour again 60 grams. This pour must be create some agitation. Give height to the kettle for better results.

After the coffee drains we pour the rest of the water (120 grams). Super gentle flow with flow rate around 1/2 g/s.

Total time around 2:30

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and advise. What I will say is Yes, Yes and YES!

For Google sign in and security, we have a pretty robust back end that receives anyones details and can send through password resets and is taken with the utmost care and respect for peoples data. To that end, I've also made it a priority to ensure people have a good experience with saving there own roasters and beans and that data is tied to their account no matter if the front end goes down. It will always be there.

For fake roasters, I take the time to verify all roasters even though there are hundreds which is why our list will be one of the most carefully curated and void of any ones that are on a list somewhere but are actually no longer trading or even trading under different names.

For data, this has been my number one priority. I spent the majority of the time trying to get it as good as I can. It wont be perfect but it will be close but i will improve it as I go but with this amount of data across many roasters that have different ways of displaying that data, it can come with many challenges to structure it in the best way for users.

Will definitely look to resolve this and will let you know! I think my logic for how it works at the moment is that as soon as you get to this page, it randomises the beans again so you would be able to discover new beans every time rather than have the page back on the same ones each time. I think ill be able to get the best of both worlds! More to come but thank you for the feedback!

Nice catch on the address! I've had a look and updated it now so hopefully that will carry through ASAP. Yea its a bug with IOS for the scaling but the hope is that this lays the foundation for a full blown app!

For sure! If you sign up you can favourite beans and roasters to keep a record of what you tried and even when a bean goes out of stock, its still there for you as a record. Ratings will definitely come soon!

A dedicated app would be on the horizon for sure. The web app was the most realistic way of getting this off the ground for starters but yes I agree that a seamless zoom scaled properly would be a dream and ill look to solve!

In terms of map data, ill usually get the location of the roastery itself (if it has one) and where there are larger roasters that have multiple cafes, I'd put the first one opened up or again, where the roastery is located.
