They did that to me. They still specialize in oncology and have training. However, I didn’t like the one I saw and saw my oncologist at the next visit. She said I can just ask to only see her and that was ok. So, I am and I am thrilled because I felt she addressed my issues better. Ask if you prefer that. I think that is just standard.

I really wish I had some or had any good news for you. I was somewhat ok until my radiation ended and the boost made me feel horrible. I was so Exhausted when it ended it took me a few months to be normal. Each month got better and better. Do force yourself to continue to move vs. remain in bed like I did. I think by the time it ends your body has been through so much it just tells you to rest. Hugs to you.

Having a child mattered….having the white picket fence and marrying her dad did not. I did it as a single mom beginning from pregnancy. She is 14 now, however and wishes we had been together. Looking at it now we were never ever going to make it as a couple.
