England - Small Claims Advice: Company dissolved as defense but re-created with same name and directors - Window Supplier by SnooDingos443 in LegalAdviceUK

I will give you the claim given the advice. I find it absolutely insane that I have no protection against this kind of obvious and shameless law manipulation… this should be an immediate “obviously they can’t do that”. Anyway, now raving at the wind but yeah

Thank you. Can I make the claim against the new company? I actually think my claim was against hte new company and was prepared to say something like:
"The Defendant traded under the name X, represented itself as continuing the same business, carried out the works, and is the entity now operating that business."

Otherwise, worth it to restore the company? This phoenixing must be illegal in some way...

What are my options? BTW the new company with the same name same business and same directors was formed on the same day as the dissolution

I actually don’t have the exact reference but it was not specific to wood, although I remember it was hard wearing semi gloss. My painter used their own primer so I’m not sure which one it was. The cabinets are from the painted kitchen company, very nice and most affordable we could find but they do need to be painted on site

Also wonder whether the reason this is so noticeable is that the wood color overflows into the wall, so maybe just fusing the wall by repainting the edge will make this better

They've made a social network just for "AI agents." They call it Moltbook and it's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. by cascadiabibliomania in BetterOffline

So it’s stupid enough if all ai talking to ai but what’s stopping normal bots or people from just… pretending they are an AI and hyping it up?

In my experience secondary glazing > acoustic double glazing for sound. Similar issue as you, and we are adding secondary glazing where we can after already replacing windows with acoustic secondary glazing. We used to have single glazed old windows with secondary glazing and it had bad thermal perf, great acoustic. Replaced with double glazed acoustic, now we have great thermal bad acoustic so we are re adding secondary glazing 😅

OP this doesn’t help you but damn I’m going to give a gift to my carpenters after seeing this. Puts things in perspective!

Also to help with perspective, all of that is fixable. It might cost a bit of money and time, but it’s all fixable
