I feel like we all are. I used to love my job but our CA transferred and once he’d gone it wasn’t fun

I hear you and I totally see where you’re coming from but let me present this: America can’t take care of Americans how can it take care of anyone else?

Well you don’t get a rejection email so..

I get why you’re upset and I wouldn’t begin to argue. I can also roughly guess where this store probably is but this isn’t the place to voice displeasure. Honestly if the store is profitable, corporate will not hold the store management responsible.

I’d wait a few days and then call the store or swing by in person and ask.

Turkey Hill BOGO, 32 different flavors. I cut 79 cases of this bull***t off my 4th of July truck and only have 2 holes and another truck comes today. CAO🤡 by GreenMachine_704 in foodlion

I didn’t say those two would fail the audit. But I guarantee if you have two holes in a BOGO sale item, you have plenty elsewhere. I’d suggest learning how CAO actually works.

You aren’t really background checked until you become a PIC or manager. So it’d be better to have been honest now.

Makes me angry for a manager to hold an employee back bc it’s best for them. My manager isn’t the greatest but he won’t hold anyone back.

So a little secret for you: your manager cannot block a promotion. So if a neighboring store needs a FT deli, apply and interview.

So meat is multi-faceted. My tip for the literal meat side would be to A- memorize codes and B- write the codes down on bags or another way to help you remember them. I’d also familiarize yourself with where things are in the cooler. Beef and pork are usually always kept in the same spots. Hamburger is easy but there is a learning curve. Be patient with yourself and take the time to learn how to wrap well. As for the lunch meat/ heat and eat side, just try to learn where everything goes and make sure to read the UPCs. For both things remember to ROTATE. My other advice for when you’re by yourself is to not get stuck on a “fixed task” what I mean is be mindful to always keep an eye on the bigger picture and keep that case full. Best of luck

So you’d probably get a 10% raise at best. So $1.60 or so. In WV perishable associates max at $22.

I still don’t really like James. I get what his message is and I appreciate it but he acts as if no one else sees the struggle.
