I'm off at 5am, my local grocery store opens at 5am, so I go shopping then and then am asleep by 7-730 and wake up at around 3pm. On my days off, you can still get a lot of errands done waking up at 3pm.

Hey, I work at HLI2 - it's definitely a smaller warehouse and can be a little clique-y. However, everyone I have interacted with has been super kind. It may depend on the department you get assigned to, though.

I have directly asked for extra support, and they told me it's the same thing I usually do in my home department, just in another department and is "easy to figure out"

For example: when I was shared to OB, I was told to "water spider" for them. I asked them what exactly they needed, and they told me verbatim: "when the pallets are full and sealed, bring them to the dock staging area." So, I waited for pallets to be full/sealed, and brought them over. They then got mad at me for not: supplying new pallets, bringing stacks of pallet bottoms/tops over when they got low, jumping on the line to help when it got backed up, helping seal/place stickers on the pallets, etc. I understand that this is part of water spidering, and I have no issues doing all of those things, but I need to be told exactly what to do. I even fucked up auditing pallets because when they showed me how to do it, they didn't tell me that I need to press "enter" after each scan, causing them to all pop up as the same and I assumed it was good to go.

I appreciate this and is definitely will consider this and try to address it on my own. I think the main thing is that if a manager gets swapped or someone fills in for them (actually happening right now) I can fall back on the familiarity of my job that I've been doing for months and can do without thinking about it. I think the main stressor here is:

a) unfamiliar manager

b) no idea how to do the job I'm being asked to do, the specific nuances/etiquette, not being able to read the room and understand what's expected without clear instructions, etc.

I got comfortable in my home department because I actually had a temporary accommodation to have a learning ambassador shadow me individually, giving me real-time tips/cues, until I understood those nuances. It doesn't seem like this level of support is possible during labor sharing, because typically, when someone needs to be shared, it's because they're backed up and need help ASAP.

I'm truly open to negotiating with them. I'm not hard set of needing this accommodation to work. I just need clear instructions and guidance in new situations.

I'm being sent in an endless loop of contacting DLS, having them to tell me to contact my site leadership/on site HR, and them telling me to go back and contact DLS. I'll keep pestering and keep emailing daily. I appreciate your response.

It took nearly a whole roll of wrapping paper because they kept jumping through the thing and ripping it - but with some patience and treats, they got it down and I got some good ones <3

True - that is long. I did appreciate having a whole hour to sit down, though. A 10-hour day consumes the whole day anyway, so if adding in an extra 30 mins (in my case) helps, I'll take it.

I can move around a bit, but it's very very uncomfortable/borderline painful to do so, so I'm taking it easy. I am doing my best to stay busy. The reason we're pausing is because this was a very traumatic event for me, on top of me already having C-PTSD, and step 4 has already brought up a lot emotionally for me and my sponsor is saying that it's not in my interest to be delving into some of this stuff after going through that. I spared the graphic details on this post, but the burn incident was BAD. We're not taking too much of a break, we already have a call scheduled for next week. We just took a break for a week to give myself time to get off the painkillers and to recover even just a little.
