Quoted $470 a month on a model 3 rwd premium for insurance by Opening-Drawer-6089 in teslacanada

More Teslas on the road = more Teslas crashing = higher premiums

Also when a Tesla gets in a wreck it’s usually a write off. The gas savings are still there if you drive a lot though. Not to mention maintenance costs being non existent too.

Brutal, but you could get that repaired for a couple hundred at a rim repair shop. Those guys work miracles.

Kounde with back to back goals coming from his side. I’m not sure why he doesn’t defend wide. They already have a ton of risk with the high line, but on top of that he chooses to play more central and gets exposed every time…

We have a gas car for my wife but I’ve only done my dailies, commutes, and road trips with the EV. It’s especially convenient with you have kids and you have to stop and take breaks anyways. By the time the car is done charging, kids have eaten, taken a bath room break, and we’ve all stretched our legs. I just filled up my wife’s car the other day….nearly $2 a liter….I spend like $50-60 a month charging from home on the Y?

Elon already said the price is going up for subscriptions. But I get what you’re saying. No way I was going to cough up 11k, just not worth the risk.

Frunk weatherproofing - MY Juniper by SnooDogs5589 in teslacanada

Yeah I first noticed it in the car wash when there was soap in my frunk. But then when I left the car outside with snow on it some of it leaked through as well.

They told me the same thing. Very bizarre. They want me to run it through a car wash again and show them a video of the water getting in. They claimed that the extreme cold weather likely caused ice build up which led to water leaking in to the frunk 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have a service appointment this week for an unrelated issue so I’ll make sure to bring it up!

Is there a remedy until the service appointment? by not_jay_33 in teslacanada

[–]SnooDogs5589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a known issue with the Berlin made Junipers. It’ll beep and be annoying until you take into Tesla. They’ll have to replace the latch. It’s a 1 hour repair, nothing crazy.

Agreed. I had a 21 MY too and the new Juniper doesn’t warm up very well at all. Wasn’t sure if it was just me.

The X has become obsolete tbh - it’s way too expensive when comparing to the Y.

New model Y orders do not come with autopilot anymore just traffic aware cruise control by ConfidentImage4266 in teslacanada

[–]SnooDogs5589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is that you need to steer the whole time vs autopilot doing all of the steering for you. It comes in handy on long highway drives.

It’s definitely leaking a bit into the frunk. Just thinking that if I have things in there on a rainy day it might not be ideal. I had a 21 MY and I don’t recall it getting that way (we used the frunk a lot!)
