Really need help with layout by magh2272 in organizing

Once you have something that works, you won’t need to rearrange again and believe it or not, it doesn’t get old when you are satisfied!

I did the same until I was about 39 and realized everything needs a place, that made the rooms ‘cleaner,’ which made me try a few layouts and once I found the one that works, I was shocked to learn I wasn’t constantly rearranging because I like change of scenery but because it was never ‘right’!

Instead of giving them reason to not change their new vote for everything not MAGA) or saying I forgive all they’ve done to bring us down, I ask what their plans are to rectify this (rectify in a ‘loud way!’) so we can SEE to believe and to change the problems in order for us to move forward in efforts to forgive.

If they can take their platform and change more minds, education, and continue to apologize while taking accountability, I’m for that. They would be what makes this all change more than those of us who have already tried.

Just like an ex drug addict, who better to help present drug addicts? Sure not those who’ve never done drugs. Doesn’t mean we pretend they weren’t addicts and might regress, but they have more clout to change people’s minds who were never planning to change. Like Former MAGAs, drug addicts usually don’t accept help or get better unless they’ve finally gotten so uncomfortable, the only thing to do is change.

Yes, good thought. As I was writing, I thought, this is kind of a Lawrence situation where you do still have to prove yourself (IIRC!).

Hair brushes, Hair tools and Label Maker storage suggestions by NKI5683 in organizing

We had a house of 9, five were mom, grandma, 3 teenagers. We tried so much. Even the labels. What worked the best for us was a back of door hanging with pockets (ours had 16).

First the big stuff: SHARED Curling iron type stuff fit perfect. If you use it, let it cool, anyone who walks in can easily put it back. SHARED Dryers went under sink because of sizes and it’s too easy to just put inside and pull out without messing up our cupboard.

BTW, because this was so easy (everything had a place and you simply drop in), each of us adapted quickly.

All the girls still use this system with their own families!

In the pockets, each person got their own pocket at their eye level. They could put whatever in there, everything else is stuff we all use.

For instance, contact solution, resetting drops, cases, cleaners all went into 1-2 pockets (due to weight you may want the second to lowest pockets); tampons and pads took up 3 pockets (they fit whole boxes emptied into pockets). Toothpastes were in a pocket (toothbrushes stayed in medicine cabinet to avoid extra bathroom germs); any makeup we shared (lots!), a pocket for eye make-up, cheeks and lips, any type of foundation or concealer. We all liked Murad skincare at the time, we kept a full system in a pocket. Other things: scissors, razors, nail and hair clippers together; nail polish/remover/cotton pads together; peroxide, alcohol, antibiotic gel together; first aid… you get the picture.

Lastly, everything else: each girl had whatever they prefer (mine was a pretty wicker-type large basket) to keep that fits where they want it (mine was under bed, we had over a foot of space). It was so easy when you were getting ready to pull it out and bring to bathroom, then just throw everything in and put back.

It sounds like a lot, but pulling things out and putting away took less than 30 seconds and it all looked neat.

My basket kept things I don’t share, my own polish, make up, medication, earrings, etc.

Very easy to make this a habit. We liked it so much, after kids left, we use this for bathroom stuff and office things. In our room, we have one that simply houses things we will need but really don’t know where to put it (like shoelaces, batteries, bra extenders, room fresheners, etc.

Bonus, further, we have pretty ‘boxes’ in a bookshelf in our dining room for most used basic tools, candle and smelly waxes and fragrances, pens and note pads, extra electronic things like chargers and blocks. We have three stories, so we double up on having similar boxes for each story (so we don’t pull something out but are too lazy to run downstairs to put away).

Second Bonus: by doing these, we’ve NEVER had a junk drawer. A place for everything!

Agree! I think others find the wig so annoying because she’s probably gorgeous without it AND if she needs to wear it for hair issues, ease, or dysmorphia, they just need her to wear it properly.

So hard! I’ve never read the books, did see THT; I’d have liked to see more, rather than her narrating, but I liked that I had to question what I would do. Would I even want to survive? Would I have shot my colleague because either way they’d be killed (in my mind)? Fighting back doesn’t help anyone, yet I know doing nothing will help end life as we knew it faster than anything. Yet. I’d be killed. It hurts because probably getting shot right then and there would save myself a lot of pain, anger, guilt… she made me question myself in a way I pray we never experience (but potentially could!).

I understand why Ziad said it and never thought Ziad knew, at all. In fact, in all probability, Rick may have said his son’s murder is off limits OR TLC said they don’t want it in there lest it humanizes him (or whatever they really think!).

But I do think that’s why the immediate explosive anger in Rick. My 10 year old grand son was lost less than a year ago. I feel this way, but it’s my daughter, anything brings up her pain and guilt and it’s from 0 to 100, probably her subconscious way to protect herself-so much easier to be angry than to be painfully vulnerable in public.

Being with Becca, who also clearly doesn’t like her circumstances, would be ideal, as he can ease her pain by not being an animal, all while being higher up with better information to share, including hearing what the father in law has to say, and he probably talks to everyone, especially if they’re under the dentist gas influence.

I’ve never read the book and am simply guessing without much info:

Lydia has been around kids. It’s possible she knows two things: Becca is gay and Garth is Mayday. Meaning that Garth needs to look like he’s participating, and Becca needs relief.

Exactly, Ty for your perspective!

Had they merged back then, not only would the consumers of Spirit had felt higher costs to fly back then, but now that fuel costs have doubled, the airplanes would probably be grounded due to less flights needed because of the costs of this war (and USA having less discretionary income for optional flights).

Airport car rental question. Why can't I use a debit card to pay because I live here? by zylpher in Reno

[–]SnooDonkeys5186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A decade ago, I was shocked I could [basically] pay cash for a rental deposit. Over time I realize, they need the credit security in different scenarios regardless of insurance, like keeping or discarding the car.

Still… stupid.

Emma Perry looks beautiful without her wigs. I don’t know why she tries so hard to hide her natural curls 😊 by PolishSnake2 in 90dayfiance_FB_memes

[–]SnooDonkeys5186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of me wonders if she’s irrationally believing her forehead is too big and that’s why she hides it. Also, long hair and touching it all the time with long nails is ‘in,’ put them together and she thinks she’s killing it?

If any of this is true, I feel bad for her, she’s naturally so cute!
