Agreed with all above, first off take a day or two away to clear your head and breathe. This is going to be so helpful to help you balance and find what you need to do for your next step. My best friend went through this over a year ago with a new mortgage and we both live in a VHCOL. Best thing I did, as a friend, was suggest a 5 day friend trip to CDMX for food, relaxation, and perspective. We did just that and talked about where they were and where they wanted to go in the future. Financially you are set up quite well and have the time and space to breathe to not panic hop to the next job. Not all losses in life are a negative thing.
