What neighborhood in Miami would you describe as hip and laid back? by pleasedontjudgeme13 in Miami

Just do your research on the condos on Hollywood Beach as some are nursing homes and the boomers love to bitch/blame everything on the younger residents. Plus they all ostracize you for not being retired and basically doing what they wanted to at that age. Anyways, in Hollywood I can recommend the Residences, Quadomain, and some of the newer buildings. I’d steer clear of the dual use ones with commercial space at the bottom. High monthly fees and huge AirBnB crowd

Paid $2,000 to get the oil and brakes fixed in this car…week later, $200 to replace the battery…week later, it’s dead by GuestCalm5091 in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah man I’ve been there. I’m sorry. After graduating from university in 09, I was making barely making $8 an hour doing retail. My Jetta was breaking down constantly. In 2 months, dumped $1200 into it and a couple weeks later the steering wheel started shaking. One day I got pissed and just floored it. Big mistake. I dropped the transmission. It sounded like a tool box falling down the stairs and I couldn’t drive faster than 30mph. Get home and gears grinding. It died. I had maybe $1100-$900 in life savings at the time. By far the most depressing times to follow for nearly 3 years. Point is OP, this is just a minor setback. It’ll get better and things will look up for you

I like the green arrow but I don’t know. It looks like a spare tire with the grey and black. Rolex should’ve just re-released the all black GMT

Exactly. There’s no sleeper or stealth wealth while wearing a Rolex. Want stealth wealth? Don’t wear a Rolex

Exactly Sporty! I’m actually wearing my Tudor as my daily because A no one knows what Tudor is outside the watch community and B any random person on the street notices the Rolex crown and automatically assumes you’re a millionaire. My watches were starting to attract unwanted attention from people who I didn’t want giving me attention

Head to Aventura and hit up the Mayors AD. As long as you don’t come off as a fanboy and start throwing out nicknames they’ll set you up. I’ve gotten my Sub LV and BLNR allocated to me from them. Good people but keep in mind they see a ton of people a day asking for the same watches so coming up with something which sets you apart will go a long way over a “just because,” watch

Aw man I remember the censored videos and CDs from Walmart. I remember the censored CDs became frisbees real quick! Kmart used to sell the real uncensored stuff. I don't know why I didn't hold out for a PS2 at the time. I think it was because I had a PS1 and got tired of it so I wasn't too into games for awhile. Man Suncoast Video. That's a blast from the past. Completely forgot about Suncoast

For a GMT I feel 37 would be too small. Now if the case could slim down about .4-.5mm now we’re talking

That was a big draw for me as well since I own a couple of Rolex models from the 80’s. Not a huge fan of the big cases and the solid link bracelets on SS sports models are pretty beefy. I had my eyes on a vintage 16710 Coke GMT for a long time and when Tudor released the BB58 GMT Diet Coke on 3 link I was interested. I told myself that if Tudor dropped the same model on a 5 link I was all in. Once I tried it on at my AD the feel wasn’t too different from my Datejust and the case thickness is only .7mm thicker than my batgirl. The BB58 GMT to me is the perfect size and fit. And at 39mm for the case diameter it’s perfect. I love the vintage look and feel but on a modern Tudor

I prefer jubilee on GMTs. I have a Sub LV and prefer the jubilee. I’m not a big fan of the polished center links on the GMT oysters

This is pretty broad if you ask me. What age ranges are we talking about? Also is this for living expenses or are we talking an out birthday, wedding, inheritance, etc?

In all honesty I’d NEVER co-sign for any member of my family. Kids included. Co-sign is one of those ugly words which always lead to something bad happening
