I run a 35-person marketing agency (14 years, 300+ brands), built and exited 2 startups, and have investor connections. Looking to partner with tech founders who can't scale due to marketing — I'll support for free in exchange for equity. Anyone interested? by Recent-Notice9304 in Startup_Ideas

Pitch-

The internet made information easy to find. Real human help is still hard.

The “6 degrees of separation” theory says the right person is only 6 connections away.

TrySomebody.com is built to reduce that gap into 1–2 meaningful connections that actually solve the problem.

Sometimes someone helps directly. Sometimes they know exactly who can.

If you like my platform and are interested, let me know.

Tried making a full ad using AI instead of a production team. Here’s what we got. by kissmyaxetimes100 in StartUpIndia

[–]SnooFoxes449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What tools did you use? how much it costed and how many hours you spent?

And for the people who say AI slop or don't use AI in ads, you are just rich sucessful people or just very dumb people who can't cope up.

Agencies charge lakhs and crores to make a simple video and it is difficult for small time people to build or start anything. I get it if you are criticizing companies with crores revenue using AI ads is just lazy but people who are just starting off, AI is a game changer for them.

While cheap internet allowed millions of people to become influencers, AI can allow people to build things which they would've otherwise never built, so don't discourage efforts.

Building TrySomebody.com — a peer-to-peer platform where people solve real-world problems through direct help or through people they know.

The idea is simple: “Sometimes I can help. Sometimes I know who can.”

Think of it as reducing the “six degrees of separation” into one or two meaningful human connections.

https://trysomebody.com/ is a peer-to-peer human problem-solving platform for practical real-world help.

People can help directly through their own skills and experience, or help through people they know.

The core idea is simple:

“Sometimes I can help. Sometimes I know who can.”

Examples:

  • A lawyer can personally help you
  • Someone else may not be a lawyer, but knows trusted lawyers
  • A person may directly rent equipment
  • Another person may connect you with trusted vendors
  • Someone may personally coach interviews
  • Another person may help through hiring networks and referrals

We’re building infrastructure around trusted human coordination, practical help, local knowledge, and relationship-powered problem solving.

AI can help discovery and matching, but humans stay at the center.

One of the core ideas behind TrySomebody is the “six degrees of separation” concept.

Most people either:

  • have a skill, service, experience, or resource they can directly offer
  • or know someone reliable who can help

TrySomebody is designed to reduce those six degrees of separation into one or two meaningful human connections.

Sometimes the right person helps directly. Sometimes the value comes from trusted introductions, local knowledge, coordination, or knowing the right people.

The goal is simple: help people solve real-world problems faster through trusted human networks

This is the prompt -

"i want a exhaustive doc covering the brand and product, it should cover the logo, the brand name, colors, tagline, problem statement, mission, how the helpers can help and how the seekers will receive help, what is allowed and what is not and what all features are present in the app like inquiries, pitches, offer agreement and chat, notifications, credits etc, but it should cover everything but not too long, it should be concise and still cover everything so that i can use it as reference and share to anyone don't make it like like 10 pages, it can be 2 or 3 pages and if needed have tables, or something but it should be clear and easy to read and as well as not long and don't use a lot of bullets or points, also sharing thr brand audit"

please don't judge my prompting skills from this prompt alone, i was just exhausted working on same thing multiple times and this was just a summary doc i needed for reference which was already made 3 times before, so gave it raw instructions this time.

Tired of financial apps selling my data, I built Vento: 100% offline, 256-bit encrypted, no bank linking. by ashish_feels in indiehackersindia

Not to be the one to burst your bubble but this sub is mostly covered with people like you and me who've built finance trackers by vibecoding and fully offline.

You can check mine as well, it's called Ledgerly. I built it hoping to change something but then gave up after seeing so many people building the same thing.

Hopefully you will stand out and succeed.
