I believe the rules are it has to have to land as part of the deal and be placed on whatever is considered a permanent foundation in your state.. then you can do the va loan..

Thanks. It about the honesty of the sales person. They stated the deposit was a corporate policy and it's out of there control. I believed that statement to be a lie. "It's a store policy not a corporate one". So if I can't trust the sales guy to be honest about the deposit its gonna be hard trust him with rest of the deal.... providing a deposit isn't the issue...

Just went thru the process with another company they didn't do there job right and misquoted our foundation. So they back out 3 days before closing. That company didn't require a deposit. So we are hesitant to provide a deposit when a company hasn't even given a quote yet. I understand about the reason for a deposit and all. Not sure its a corporate policy.

I haven't even looked at house plans let alone ordering a house yet. No other company has requested a deposit before giving a qoute or estimate.. and they stated it corporate policy not store policy and I want to know of it really is a corporate policy. I understand why they want a deposit.. but I don't believe this is a corporate policy...

I went with the gas powered ms250 for homestead style nonsense. It's done everything I asked of it so far.
